Figured it out by unplugging wire harness going into plug at back bumper. Had no power but after I cleaned grease out it worked. Thanks for video that was next step

Good video, right to the point. Thanks for posting!! Note; finally changed mine out on 9/20/23, I got it at the Ram dealer for $270.00 USD. Mine was working fine manually but not when i depressed the brake pedal. Works perfectly now.

Is this an issue to help the truck the truck turn back on? I already replaced the TIPM, worked for about 4 hrs and then won't work again. Just keeps bringing up the CF error on the break control box. Didn’t when it was running though.
I am not sure, the last time my truck turn off and didn’t start back, it was a cable so my dealer has to bypass that cable. Good luck

Thank you very much for the video, I own a RAM2500 Hemi 5.7 (2012) and now I have this same fault, but I don´t use trailers, I´ve never used that trailer module!!, so I don´t want to replace it, my question is, what What happens if I just disconnect it? Does the fault persist? Can I do extra damage? Or does the truck simply remove that option on its own?, I really appreciate any information you can give me...

Only the blinking light stating “CF”

Hey Kingantwan - I purchased this one on Amazon (Mopar-OEM Trailer Tow Module- 56029431AM) it cost about $180 before this inflation game. Check to make sure it fit before you buy it, good luck 🍀
