It is definitely looking like Fall in PA Logan with that sky, dark clouds and cool weather. That dill you planted by seed later in the season has been beautiful for awhile now too. Nice vid.👍👍
I’ve always had a respect for people that grow food, it has increased today. I am presently trying again to grow myself some Brussels sprouts after not even enjoying them as a a child. I am attempting dill again and it’s doing better, I just need to sow more of it. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you.
We cut our zucchini in chunks hollow them out stuff with hamburger meat and rice cook in an electric skillet with a little water and then when they are done mix about 4 to 5 eggs with lemon juice pour over top put the lid back on until the egg cooks and they ready too eat they are really good
You are doing so well this growing season, Logan, despite all the issues with the weather. I'm sure you probably know but in the UK we have sweed or Rutabaga's grow to about 5 inches across or about 3lb in weight. We boil and/or mash with butter or roast for best flavour and also add to soups and stews. Your turnips are fantastic too. Great size and cooked the same way. Your videos are my favourites and I'm enjoying all you do. Frank is such a gem and so is Sammy ❤
Logan, love your harvest videos and your explanations as you do it. The late planting of dill was a great idea and it looks amazing. Daisy is too funny with her sweet corn!
Logan, The pumpkins look so nice! Hope Frank had a great birthday. I was watching on my TV and do not think there is a way to comment on there. Thanks for the video.
I don’t normally leave comments but maybe this could be a helpful tip for frank. Try double looping the elastic prior to putting it around dill. Might help but we all do things differently… either way still end up with the end result :) keep it up
I like the way you guys handle produce. You do it gently. Thanks for the tips on brussels sprouts. I don't care for them but my son loves them which is surprising since as a small boy I couldn't get hardly any veggies into him!
I agree Redmapleleaf!! I've mentioned several times to Logan how much respect they show in their harvest and cleaning,no one does it better than Broyans!
Hello Sir .. as always a beautiful adventure and you guys rock it all again .. loved watching your lifestyle and you both are hard workers .. nice harvest as always, and beautiful captured filming edition .. Merci beaucoup Monsieur
Awesome Brussel Sprout pointers. I like the title of this video, has The intrigue factor! What variety of pumpkins did the best for everyone in warmer zones? Im in Central California & always trying to grow the ones for big Jack-o-lanterns 🎃 , but did get some Nice medium size. 👍 Beautiful Fall Weather in this Video 🍂🍁
That is some beautiful produce Logan and those are some of the best looking pumpkins I've ever seen. What variety of cabbage were those y'all were cutting?
I still find it amazing that brussell spouts, cabbage, broccoli, kohlrabi and cauliflower are all the same species of plant (Brassica olearcea). Over time farmers selected for different traits resulting in the plants we see now.
All I see when faced with all those gorgeous zucchini, is vegetable lasagna. 😋😋Instead of flour noodles, thinly sliced zucchini….yum, and Keto friendly! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
I slice my zucchini with a mandolin and I laid them out on paper towels to dry a little bit and then I use them instead of lasagna noodles to make lasagna. I also sliced them and cook them with onions and garlic then I add a can of drain whole colonel corn top it with shredded cheese put a lid on it and let the cheese melt. And of course I also used them in soups.
Beautiful! But you can eat the leaves too. Trim the leaves from the bottom as they grow chop and freeze. It’s only May 23 and I’ve already gotten 2 harvests of leaves. Leave the top portion of leaves to draw energy, after topping and get Brussels too! They are similar to kale but take way less time to cook.
At what point do you decide to top the plant to divert growth to the sprouts? If you pulled the leaves off the bottom of the stalk up 4”-5”, would that give better airflow to help prevent rotting of sprouts on the bottom?
All of your tips for growing Brussels sprouts are true. As with all brassicas they’re heavy feeders. So feed them well with a good amount of fertilizer. As far as varieties, Franklin is good and I think Dagan is too.
Don't you have Brussels sprouts through winter? Over here in Belgium (Brussels is our capital city) we have them in the garden way beyond januari and februari. They tast the best when they have been hit by frost. (like savooi) I never plant the "summer" B. sprouts, I always do the winter. Those can be planted till september or so.
TL:DR FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS IT: -the brussels sprout segment starts at 0:52 and ends at 4:32 -he gives 3 tips: Space well, Water A Lot, keep the area weed free that's it
Those brussel sprouts are so cool Idk they love water so much and the bugs always tear mine to shreds. Do chinkimz like eggplant 🤷♂️ I’ve never grown it and they don’t know but they are very curious maybe I’ll try some next year.
You have so much dill in the field. It’s going to go with the cold weather. Why not cut most of it and set it to drying. You’ll sell a lot if it during the winter months.
I've noticed in a number of your videos, including this one, a hill in the background with a clear cut path that looks like a ski run. What is it and its purpose?

Just as she caught it!! Brilliant!

You want a nice frost to hit the rutabagas so that they'll taste sweeter than when they're picked without being hit by frost.
... Franklin is a good one ...
.. plenty of space ..
.. lots of water ..
... a clean field juss kinda' makes a happy plant ...!!!
Appreciate that means allot 👍🎸

Jennifer is a one hard-working tough lady. And cool,of course, too.

Happy birthday 🎉🎈🎁🎊🎂
I think Frank looks like a renegade hunter!
I wish I had time 👍🎸
Sammi won the Brussels presentation method. :)
What’s the progress of your strawberry plants Logan? ❤😊
Space about 2’ apart, plenty of water, variety like Franklin, no weeds
what a lush dill !
How long does it take to grow from seed to picking? I'm thinking about planting some.
Frank has one speed! 10% faster than the hardest working person that day. Is that what he does every day?
Thanks means allot.yes I try to, I also Play guitar with that much conviction👍🎸

It would be interesting to see the action

Get grow lights and heat mats to grow inside
Look into growing kalettes plants
Happy birthday
😎

Row do you keep your zucinni squash from getting infested with squash bugs? I quit growing them because of those...
Good morning
Logan, pal,my heart is bleeding when I see your hands without gloves )
Maybe the hillbillies bolted down those zucchinis at night, not the deers )
Is Frank your uncle?
Frank is not, he is a friend who works on our farm!
Breaking the leaves odd instead of cutting them with a knife looks better and is safer.
Should keep copper tools....
fart bombs.stay safe
Keep up the good job you and your family and friends do a great show.
