I saw a video (which has been removed) that was in black and white of the 1974 Olympia and let me tell you, pictures (as good as they are), do not do justice. No one in the 70s could touch him that year. He was about 243 lbs and he was peaking that year. If he had trained his usual 8 - 9 months in 1975, he probably could have been even better.

Arnold was big but he was conditioned and aesthetic at the same time. Many bodybuilders today are big but lack the aesthetic appeal and aren’t able to control their abdominals either. Arnold was the perfect balance.

no he had problem with heart from his young age.. that is why..
His drug cocktail wasn't that bad, and he was one of the few that didn't stay on all year. he actually bulked during season, got smaller in the off.
