1) AS ki wajha se jo weight loss hua hai woh dubara gain kaise kare?
2) AS ki wajha se pet ki jo problem hoti hai uske liye kya Rheumatologist k sath sath Gastroenterologists ko b dikhana padega?
1) AS aur wight loss- AS ko accha control karke lo aur khane pe dhyan do. Agar low starch diet follow karte hoge to weight loss usase hota hai. Usame weight gain expect na karo.
2) Pehle rheumatologist se baat karo . AS control ho jata hai to pet ka problem bhi control me aata hai. Diet changes try kar sakta ho.

Very good information sir. But I would like to know that my crp level is always very low around 1 since I was diagnosed with AS in 2010 and even today AS is very active as I am facing severe stiffness in low back in SI joints. So, is it possible to have low crp level with active AS. Currently I am on biologics also.

You need to check the normal level for the lab. Different labs have different cutoffs.

I have done this CRP and ESR test. For me the value is 17.2 mg/dl for CRP and ESR is 06 mm/hr. Are this normal values??

Hi Sir, Sorry to writting here as one year has passed me with back pain,hips pain and ankle, knee pain MRI one side show bone marrow edema , ESR, CRP & ANA,RA , B27 all r negative I have visited around 10 to 12 expert Rheumatologist, but no one can diagnosed me that what is this? Taking nucoxia 90 one time in a day.
difficult to answer this question without examining you/ seeing the MRI.

Sir I am as patient, my age is 17 years .I have developed this disease from February 2021,I have done MRI and it stated that my spines are good, no evidence of osteoporosis, but early stage sacriolitis. I have to give JEE . I want to know if I can sit on ergonomic chairs or regular office chairs.

sulphasalazine does not generally cause low abc count. You need to look for other causes as well.

If AS patients get covid then how do differentiate if the high CRP is because of AS or covid infection
We have to use other tests done for COVID & clinical signs of COVID to differentiate between the two.

There are many reasons of high phosphorus level. Please see a physician. You need to be evaluated in detail.

Sir mera ESR.CRP both r higher level pe hai ..mai sazo 2000 daily,folitrax 20 weekly leti hu ..mera sacral joint pe bohot zada dard ho raha hai ap plz mujhe med suggest kare...is time mai Etoshine 90 Etoshine SR le chuki hu but dard kam nahi hua..plz suggest sir..
Agar Sazo 2000, folitrax 20 aur etoshine lene ke bawjood aapko dard hai aur ESR/ CRP jyada hai to aapke biologics ke baare me sochna chahiye. Aapke rheumatologist se baat karna.

PBRen is not a NSAID (anti inflammatory). It should not affect the CRP levels.

Aapka AS control me nahi hai. Exercise nahi karte hoge to roj karna. Rheumatologist se baat karna dawa ke baare me.
Sir .my crp is 8 amd esr is 23 . . Earlier my crp was 22 and esr was 40 ..i took nsaid for 4 months now my levels become low ..is that okay .or still little bit higher. For AS

Different labs have different range/ level of normal. A crp of 119 is quite high. Do consult a rheumatologist asap.
@@DrShashankAkerkar Thank you for replying.. My rheumatologist has suggested me for biologics therapy.. As there is no improvement in my AS from last 8 months with conventional medicines... My crp 2 months before was 148 .. It came down to 119 this month...
