I love it when people take the time to use other languages in movies and then put the subtitles in. It makes everything seem more authentic.

CCP should remaster this trailer with the new CGI they've been using and newer ship models.

This is pretty much just like the PvP element of the game. Down to in-channel arguments in the middle of a battlefield.

The smallest ships you can fly are Frigates, which are about the size of a modern day air liner. For all intents and purposes they are basically like fighters, small, agile and fast. The only craft smaller are unmanned drones, though the actual "fighters" in the game are controlled like drones and manned by expendable human pilots. They can only be launched by carriers.

10 years later, and it's still the best trailer out there.
I'd say citadel is better. More clear audio/ better graphics and cool song.
But this one is definitely one of the best.

The sound the last weapons make is just perfect...
Saw people below talking about the old Titan Doomsday weapon wiping out a fleet of Caps or whatever, and tho that is a bit OP (just a little ha), it is a doomsday weapon meant for total destruction. It's point of impact could be like a enormous smartbomb going off, radiating outward, destroying the target ship, damaging battleship class and larger, and obliterating anything cruiser class and below in it's blast radius. This could including friendlies to add the risk of collateral damage to the fleet. So if you're targeted by a Titan, and you see any enemies clearing a 50km radius around you, you know what's going to happen (Add evil laugh here). Maybe OP but a cool idea in my book.

Well one shot may be a bit short for long term battles, maybe 3-5 shots that use up some type of fuel source,
Maybe not the BEST trailer, but certainly the most accurate to the actual game. Were this an actual fight in Nullsec between 2-3 alliances you'd end up with things like attempting to crash the node, weirdly aligned ships everywhere and spending the entire fight zoomed so far out most of these ships would be almost invisible and represented by icons. periodically pulsing small lines.
It wouldn't be good business to show EVE as it actually is day-to-day, but this is closer than most of their trailers.
... you a bit far out eh :P (not saying your wrong) but nobody really attempts to crash the nodes. Its extremely difficult. and now with the new tidi system and smart management the nodes are reinforced quite fast by ccp. and who cares the trailers look badass. (although i want the sentry drone effects from the rubicon one)

its gets really interesting when 3-4 entire coalitions start fighting over systems, entire 3-4 way battles on gates and on pos's are so much fun
A year ago this trailer got me into EVE. 6 months later, I watched it again but had no idea what they were talking about. Now I see this, I can name every ship, use the terminology, and do it better than they did.
I've watched this trailer multiple times and only just realized there are 3 different participants in the battle....

Best EVE trailer. Makes me tingle all over through the entire video.
@thekillcam26 Sounds in Eve are generated by the pods the pilots sit in while flying their ships. In the lore, early capsule pilots had a tendency to go crazy, and part of the reason was the sensory deprivation that the capsule created. They added audio synthesizers to feed appropriate noises to the pilot so he could make use of his hearing as well.
