'Treasures Of The Ocean' - Canvas Painting using Sea shells and Corn Silk | Acrylic |

- Ocean has always been the deepest and the most ligitimate metaphor I use to express about my personality. You really can't tell if the ocean is just grey by looking at it from the shore or if it's truly got treasures deep unless you're genuinely wanting to swim down in saline, not fearing the sharks and believing your intuitions to be true. All of us are like that somewhere, are we not? đđ

Coming to the video, I have used small and medium sized shells and Sweet Corn Silk (corn hair) to create the texture and stamped on fingers dipped in acrylic colours - care free-on my virtually real, white, A3 dimensioned canvas sea bed. I call it - 'Treasures Of the Ocean'.

Thanks a tonne!â€
It's so beautiful đ
So beautiful! Inspired me to create my next painting :) Can I ask, did you just use water on your fingers to diffuse the colour around the outside?? I love how it looks watery!
emilia jager hey! Thanks for a beautiful comment! †Yes, I have used water on my fingers and a little bit of white paint to create the watery effect. Water is the easiest medium to diffuse paint to get an effect like that but you've got to do it before the paint starts drying (in case of acrylic colours). If in case it dries and you can't get the edges blended, you may use white paint, a drop of the colour that you using and water over and around the edges..works great! Hope this helps. â€
Aanchal thanks so much for the pointers!! I shall try it out :):) canât wait to see your next work! Xx
