  • Rapid Fire topics include:
    * We did some wide receiver predictions last week. One of our listeners sent us a message saying we’re sleeping on Deion Colzie and KK Smith because we didn’t have them in any of our predictions. Where do we stand on that?
    * Fill-in the blank...Notre Dame commit Noah Grubbs winning the accuracy challenge at the Under Armour Future 50 over the weekend is BLANK.
    * Riley Leonard on has thoughts Notre Dame 2025 quarterback commit Deuce Knight.
    * Most of college athletics is run by the NCAA, which has one president who runs the entire show. College football runs a little differently, because its championship is run by the College Football Playoff, which is separate from the NCAA. Buy or Sell that each college sport should have its own commissioner?
    * Penn State has a season over/under win total of 9.5. We look at their schedule and predict their record.
    * If you received a championship ring and it had an error on it would you send it back to get it fixed or just keep it?

LSU had 6 receivers with 10 or more catches.

Yeah I think we are sleeping on Colzie. I don't know enough about KK.

....if you were sleeping on Deion Colzie you would get a good night's sleep because he appears to be very soft.....

we’ll see. i’ll be back to say i told you so in-season. he had terrible position coaches his first 3 years in a toxic room. you’re trying to cover up your shoddy ass receiver analysis not even mentioning our best athletes at the position in your initial commentary

also i never trust a single thing vince says. guy is always talking out of his ass and sounds like a used and abused car salesman

“Shoddy ass”. Off the top of your head do you know what the depth chart was at the end of spring or do you just have two guys who you think should be good and now you’re throwing a fit? We mentioned the best athletes at the position: Greathouse, Mitchell, Faison, Collins. Who all produced more in one season than Colzie has in three years. And we could have ignored your comment but we respectfully addressed it.

@@seanstires650 you addressed it by aggressively shooting it down and laughing the question off like it was ridiculous to even suggest that maybe those two guys deserved at least a mention, two guys who, by the way, both had some good plays in the spring game, and who are objectively two of the best athletes on the team in speed & build. so yeah really appreciate the patronizing way in which you responded to the initially casual comment i made on that vid!

@@seanstires650 for the record, my issue is largely with vince generally. not you or Jesse. so maybe “shoddy ass” was an overreaction to vince grinding my gears with his “i go wherever i’m led and don’t have any real valuable insight or analytical skills to speak of and always talk out my ass” vibe. like immediately after shooting down the idea that those two might be potentially legit contributors to this offense, vince makes the point that ND will likely be running 5-6 receivers. but that doesn’t make him reconsider whether those two might fit into the lineup?! make it make sense!
