Oh my God, that is so funny! I've got the exact same vortex chain and sprocket set that you do. I've got the same bike you do. I went to Waynesville Cycle Center. I had them rebuild my front forks. The valving had come loose and dropped down inside of the fork. I made the mistake of telling them that I had just put new fork seals on. I told them I wanted everything replaced with factory parts. They did the valving but they did NOT replace the fork seals.....and as anybody knows if the forks are taken apart the forks seals have to be replaced even if they are new! I told them to replace the forks seals! I paid them $1500 to do the job! And they didn't even do half the stuff I asked. And on top of that they just put the forks back together with the seals I had just put on. Yet they left them dirty as hell and they leak like hell!!! I wouldn't take my bike to Waynesville Cycle Center again if it was the last place on earth to work on my bike. I cannot believe they left your rear axle loose!!!! Please tell me it's not the same place. Absolutely worthless shop!!! Waynesville Cycle Center sucks!!!!

Nice... Bout.to swap my -1 front stock rear vortex to -1 +2.. With -1 out front was already a nice setup for the streets . Kinda wanna pop 2nd clutch wheelies so I'm going with -1+2.. haha. Great vid .ride safe
The +2 makes it very easy to pop a wheelie 😉
So -1 in front sprocket and +2 in rear makes acceleration faster ?
I heard one of the mechanic suggesting opposite of it for more faster pulls… means +1 in front and -2 in rear ( i have 06 cbr1000rr)
Its 1 down in the front and 2 up in the rear. I think you said it backward.

I'm hoping you can clarify for me the tooth numbers on your new kit, looking to change my sprockets and chain here soon for the new season. In the description you have -1/+2 but in the video you mentioned you went up one in the front and down two in the rear.
I'm probably super confused by the -/+ when it comes to sprockets but I just wanted to clarify! On the vortex HFRS kit, the OEM teeth count as 16/43 and the -1/+2 kit counts as 15/45.
Hey sorry about the confusion, apparently I was confused myself when installing! 😅 you are right, the kit was a down 1 tooth in the front up two teeth in the rear hence the -1/+2. This changes the original tooth count on my CBR from 16 teeth in the front to 15 teeth and the rear from 42 to 44. Make sure you get a 520 chain for this setup if you do go this route. Hope this helps!

Did you notice a major difference with the speedometer being more inaccurate

its a 10% difference so 145 ish
@@smoirt5053 brodie my non tuned cbr600rr does 170mph. his prolly goes faster than that prolly bout 180 on a good day
