Great video - Thank you
Thanks!
Great video! getting a Tesla soon, either the model 3 LR/Performance or the highland, which ever one makes sense at that time but the info was much needed and answered most of the questions I had been asking myself.
I’m glad this video was helpful! When you’re ready, you can get $500 off a Model Y/3 with my referral link in the description of this video 👍🏻
What amperage is best to charge for minimum battery degradation if charging time is not a concern
Can you drive the Tesla without a key or phone in the vehicle? Can you remotely start your car for a friend who drove to the store without key access?
You need at least a phone or the key to be able to drive car. Just put foot on brake and go. Yes you can give a friend or family member or anyone for that matter access to drive your car anywhere in the world. In the app on phone your able to give access. A timer will count down , they only have two minutes for security reasons.
I charge my Model Y Long Range to 90% Everyday for daily work commutes is that good or bad for the battery?
Yes 90% is also good 👍🏻
You can charge over 80% if you plan on using the car immediately.. do not let it sit for long periods of time after charging more than 80% it degrades the battery.
@@muminab9701I was just at the Tesla facility and they said it can be charged to 90% with no issues at all
That depends on what sort of EV battery you have. If it’s LFP then you must charge to 100%. It’s in the Tesla Owners Manual and also on your car computer, just look at the “Charging” option on the screen. It will actually ask you to charge to 100% if your car has an LFP battery, this is necessary to enable your Battery Management System to calibrate your battery correctly.
