- You join me in North Wales, more specifically Snowdonia national park to interview an incredibly lady who has travelled around the world by motorcycle, but whilst doing it rode on all 7 continents!
That is none other than Steph Jeavons, we talk about her life, her experiences and what she is up to today, Moto Junkies.
From heroin addict to prisoner to estate agent and then world traveller (including becoming a sailor!) - I hope you enjoy this frank, honest and inspiring conversation as much as I did

Incredible woman and such an inspiration for adventure! Great interview!
Glad you think so 😁 was awesome to have you involved in the process 👊
Interesting interview. She's certainly had an eventful life.
Glad you thought so! She really has managed to pack a lot in
@I Like Motorbikes Did well to pull it all back from those early drug and prison days. We're probably too risk adverse to do her huge adventure. She's right about putting a date to when you're actually going to do something, or it just doesn't happen
@@Banditmanuk totally agree, just shows that with the right opportunities, determination and attitude you can achieve your goals. Yep setting and working to a date is definitely the right way of doing things! Some lessons for everyone in the video I think
What an amazing women.. she’s quite incredible ❤❤
I totally agree! And relatively unknown too, I was in awe at her book and meeting her in person
Loved her book, Home By Seven.🇦🇺
Great interview! :)
Thanks, glad you think so!

@Mark Sutton never say never but no plans to do it. Once was definitely enough 🤣
Has Steph been following Itchy Boots?
I'm not sure, I think you may have to ask her!

Thank you and well done on a great interview of a great pioneering female adventure rider of our times of the adventure travel generation. 👍
Steph is the ORIGINAL solo lady adventure rider of our time in the 21st century!
She started it all regarding modern/recent day female adventure riders.
No disrespect is intended to anyone.
One could say that Itchy boots and other female riders followed in Steph's footsteps of adventure riding.
I think its fact that No other solo female riders were on the horizon when Steph started and completed her trip.
(and to note that except for Lyndon Poskitt, with "races to places" series, many other popularized solo male world travelling adventure riders came on the scene later too) . Maybe I am wrong about all this, but i cant think of other solo, unassisted riders from that time frame.
Also note that during Steph's time, there were no drones for filming and, technology and internet was really shady too - especially so in the countries she was travelling. So there are no spectacular drone shots youtube docuseries.
Many peoples' amazing accomplishments are not always on social media, so that is not a way to judge accomplishments and success.
Today we are lucky that thanks to technology, we can see more of adventures of travelers, yet there are plenty of people traveling with minimal social media footprint.
Sometimes the best personal adventure stories are told in interviews and not in drone shots.
Thank you and well done on a great interview of a great pioneering female adventure rider of our times of the adventure travel generation. 👍
