    Really cool video to watch. There's a reason why BMW's are the ultimate driving machine.

    Thank you so much! I just purchased a 2013 F10 DINAN from George Brett who traded the vehicle to me for another F10. Great video 👍🏼

    A little drive motor inbetween the sway bars causes all that movement?

    An interesting demonstration. Thanks so much for the video post, EGA. Well done! BTW, what are the service issues/longevity/failure rate/cost for this system vis-a-vis standard anti-sway (roll) bars?

    • @matejovich
      @matejovich Před 6 měsíci

      The failure rate is high. Almost all of these away bars leak hydraulic fluid

    Good video I had the problem with my 2008 BMW 750li the dynamic steering hydraulic lines behind the passenger side under the plastic cover they were leaking . The sign on cluster was ( Red with car arrow sign ) It also show the transmission overheating sign the lines were very expensive there are 6 lines each is $97.99 X 6= $ 665 plus $900. to install them all most $2000 . I took the car to hydraulic repair shop I had have the by passed for $ 180.00 the car runs perfect with no sign.

    Hi there, I'm wondering if the element could be tuned somehow as with the active steering. I'd like quicker steering and faster swaybar actuations as well a fully still delrin bushings.

      I’m sure it could but unless someone has freely made the coding and it’s easily duplicated it will likely cost more than a software update 😢😂😮😅

    Wow! What an innovation! Citroen didn't have this until 1994 when they introduced the Xantia Activa. From what decade is this BMW again?

    • @waverunner7063
      @waverunner7063 Před 7 lety +3

      Infiniti had this in the 1991 Q45. It was a very expensive and rare option but a technological marvel. This technology is poorly understood or known in America. I think if most luxury car buyers knew you'd see a lot more S-Class and 7-Series with it. It is hard to find one with it.

    I have a 2004 545i and one of the hoses is leaking a little I can actually see from where it's a small pin hole is there any way to fix this hose without replacing the whole thing?

    • @EscondidoGermanAuto
      @EscondidoGermanAuto  Před 6 lety

      You may be able to remove the hose and have it repaired by a local company that manufactures hydraulic hoses, but the best repair would be to replace it with the factory part.

    Hi, I own BMW X5 V8 with dynamic drive, wich is really awsome feature. But since two months I feel that shock/dampers are really unconfortable if just driving straight. I feel really every bump. Body rolling, brake dive, acceleration pitch working perfect. Do you thing that the EDC/VDC has to re-calibrate ? IS it possible ? Thank for advise.

    • @TheTripleDubya
      @TheTripleDubya Před 7 lety +1

      I think your shock absorbers need replacing.
