- Sometimes Craig bites off more than he can chew. This is one of those times. Here's an update on all the projects we have going on in the shop.

I don’t mind that projects don’t get finished right away. I would however like if you would make a playlist with projects that were completed over time. So I can sit and watch them from beginning to end.
I kinda like this Idea. Here here!
I would also like to express my fondness for that... particular idea
100%, playlists would be awesome.
Please, please!
That's a great idea.
A million half finished projects? Every craftsman and craftswoman felt that in their soul
ya, you don't need to say "craftswoman" - man refers to mankind. Of which women are a part. HUman. Not Human and Huwoman.
Oh look, an honest channel, where not everything goes right. Excellent content.
I personally dont care if you dont finish a project every week. Im just glad your channel exists. Thanks. Now come fix my bike. And get it done quickly, lol 😆
My old neighbour (who died last year in his 90s) used to race CX500s up hill here in the UK. There are short but very steep hill races all over the UK. One of his records still stands. He used to be a mechanic and he has SO many tales, including working in the pits and garages at the TT races back in the 1950s/1960s. He was a legend, sorely missed. I will look forward to that CX project very much.
That’s awesome. Great story man, I love that the UK still keeps its motorcycle heritage alive.
I am an industrial mechanic, I feel you ,everyone thinks it's a ten minute fix! Take your time, no need to explain. Love the channel!
But the guys on TV do it in 30 minutes?!....(Sarcasm)
Doesn't matter who's first... We can all agree Craig is #1!
He has a list - it is full of crappy bikes to be fixed... 😂
Greg is better. Craig smells funny.
You forgot the number one rule when you are shipping something. After you shake the box, you have to say in a loud authoritative voice, " That ain't goin' nowhere."
I'm really excited about you being really excited about the excitement of the exciting projects. Exciting!
UH
when your excited, thinking of synonyms is a low priority lol
Craig, if this is your first time cerakoting try their air dry selection instead of the one that needs to be baked. It is simple to work with and requires less experience. Taking it off is a legitimate nightmare so do not cut any corners in the prep. Their air dry coatings does hold up very well and even though it is less hard it is still waaaaayy more durable then paint.
That OCC bike is everyone’s nightmare come true.
OCC was officially the lowest point in US motorcycle culture. Imagine that at one point, the Tuetels were trying to expand into the second US based crap production motorcycle company.
@@truantray OCC only buy lot parts and build all together not more doing, and then junior fail art build many bike worst ride but beauty show bike , not can use road ,only show bike. parts have only cheap normal parts and all working normal, only worst has what idiot junior do all bike fail lot and stupid ideas lot destroy normal good bike him own stupid ideas.
Thanks for the project updates. Wow that’s a lot going on. I hope the weather for your family camping trip is awesome. Have fun and recharge.
I love the transparency. Always fun seeing how people's brains tick with multiple projects going on
mind.
"Everyone needs a Craig" while true, any practitioners of the philosophies of Craig should strive to "Be a Craig"
I absolutely respect and admire Craig for skipping as much as possible, sending things to others to get sorted out, and stabbing at it himself in order to increase his own knowledge and experience. Awesome way to do things. Thanks Craig and Dan!
Golf club boxes work best for shipping forks and shocks. Go to your local driving range, golf course or golf reseller and ask for any empty club boxes they have laying around. They are happy to get rid of them.
normal men NOT play golf ewer, not smart waste time lot only, golf not have relax and funny hobby,
The box he put the suspension parts in isn't far off from a club box.
@@mattivirtaAre you having a stroke?
I love how you don't owe us an update but you provided us with an update. I'm seriously invested in your projects now. So is my girlfriend. And she doesn't know anything about bikes.
You've made it in life when you have a coffee machine in our shop. Love it Craig!
Love the updates - time is the killer of all things - my favorite part of this video, was knowing when its time to put on the Dad hat!! Keep up the hard work Craig and Dan!
The oil leak under the OCC bike is just the cherry on top. *chef's kiss*
Camping with dad, can't get any better than that... the boys will cherish these times for life!
I will probably never ride a Motorcycle or work on one, but I really enjoy your videos. Guess I enjoy a master working in their craft. Looking forward to your videos every week.
Craig, thank you for what are you doing. I've got my license and got my first project bike. Today my Yamaha XJ/FJ 600 is already restored to its full glory.
I am foaming at the mouth over the adventure bike build
Me too. And there will be something very special coming
I don’t mind that it takes time for projects to get finished. It Gives us viewers more content to watch. I just enjoy the fact that you actually complete projects. Keep it up Craig and Dan!
Marvellous. Keep em coming Craig and Dan 👍
I'm so happy I was able to be apart of this channel from the beginning... I truly appreciate every upload!!!!
One of the most interesting channels on YT. I can watch Craig work on bikes for hours. Heres the kicker, I dont even own a bike.
Friday afternoon. Quiet day at work.
Bearded mechanic video drops.
Happy days !
i just want to say craig is an awesome person. he knows i lost my son and i really appreciate the condolences craig and family it really meant alot, thank you again.
Thanks for the updates and have a great weekend camping.
Thanks for the update. It’s nice to know the status of the projects we all watch.
I am really excited for the episodes coming up, especially the chopper tuning and cx500 build.
Loved the updates! It's great to have everything be mind-mapped out for the future and making progress across the board!
Love this video! More problems, issues, work that needs to be done behind scenes. All great content! Thanks for the update guys!
I like how Craig is such a real world wrench. I LOVE Stacy David's GearZ, and I understand the necessity for brevity in a 24 minute tv show, but having done many of the projects that he has, when he says ok, we're gonna do this and zippo--... Now we removed the steering wheel and the dash...WAIT HOLD ON that ALONE with power tools and experience took EIGHT EFFING HOURS. Just did the wheel bearings on my 91 FXRS...not hard, just time consuming. EVERYONE NEEDS A CRAIG!
Thanks Craig! Enjoy the camping!
Haven't been following for so long but I really do admire the commitment put into all the projects that are happening at once. Would like to send my best cheers for this time devotion. I will happily follow the progress whenever progress happens, content really does not have to show up regularly.
Love the Zelda wind waker treasure melody to the turbo reveal.
Nice work Dan!
Pretty sure it's just from the n64 OoT
Look forward to seeing these bikes comes to fruition, have a good weekend camping with your boys Craig
LOVE LOVE LOVE the update thank you!!!
Craig, thank you for the update
Thank you for the update!
Great to gain a little perspective on the challenges you're facing. We're with you for the long-haul!
Definitely know how it goes, simultaneously working on 4 bikes at the moment (1x timing chain + full gasket/seal kit + a paint job, 2x crank bearings/seals, 1x new crank, bearings, and top end so 4 cases split all at once. Then also have one car to work on for a customer, my personal project car, and 2 other bikes I haven't even started on..just not enough time in the day or me's in the shop lol.
i really enjoy your videos and i admire you for keeping the language appropriate for all ages. keep up the good work.
Take your time. We'll all watch as things come. Subscribed and enjoying your videos.
thanks for the updates looking forward to seeing the bikes run
Thank you for this extensive update on things. Have a great and relaxing weekend too :)
Appreciate the update and relating those challenges.
Great work!
Thanks for the updates
thanks for the update. i really enjoy the show and enjoy to know whats still in the making
awesome channel
Happy to see your videos posted no matter what you are working on as I always learn a tip on what to or somtimes not to do in the video. You Are Appreciated.🙏😎👍
Over here in Britainland this is by far my most favourite bike channel.
I love how know when to take a step back and take the kids camping. Work and projects can wait . See ya next video !
You two have such great chemistry on the screen. That's the biggest reason why I keep coming back!
I think the videos are great! I figure as long as you come back to finish a project, then take as long as needed! I’m seeing videos every week regardless. Thanks Craig! Have a good one!
awesome progress! enjoy camping! looking forward to the next update
Good updates Craig... You definitely need a break. Have a great weekend riding with your boys.
So glad to hear you're just human. Keep up the good work, and stay that awesome dad you are.
Thank for the update I had been wondering. But i did just figure you were waiting on parts.
Dan. Your editing has become TOP NOTCH really!!!! Great to see well done. Simon
Always nice to see you posted another video! Keep up the work! Much love!
Don't change a thing! I enjoy you and Dan with the back and forth, learning along with you....GREAT format
This video is great because it shows what really goes on in shops. At least every shop/garage ive ever worked at. Keeping things straight is its own type of stress ontop of the actual mechanical work stress.
Thanks Craig great idea for a vid now we are all on the same page and know the status of all the projects. We ( the viewers ) need to learn patience and you learning so much more from the chopper adds to your knowledge base you can pass on. Dan have a wonderful time see you on your return.
ALWAYS worth waiting for. Looking forward to next installments!
Thanks for the update! Yuppers, Greg needs to get cracking! Go Craig and Dan, keep moving forward!
With my experience, people always ask why I didn't become a professional mechanic...this video is a prime example of why. I have enough hard enough time keeping track of all my project vehicles, let alone other people's project vehicles.😅 I'm just glad that as I age, I've started to downsize on the number projects because the z ol' memory isn't what it used to be.
I start my weekends with an episode of The bearded mechanic, a coffee and then I'm going to my garage to admire multiple unfinished project. Life is good.
Awesome videos. Keep them coming.
Have a nice camping trip with the boys!
Great video. You guys do a terrific job. The silent majority loves what you do and how you do it. Don’t worry ‘bout a thing
Have a great weekend Craig and Dan. Love ya vids
Took me two months to do a moderate restoration on my old 84 Magna V65. That was just swapping out parts from the parts bike, cleaning and syncing carbs, cleaning the gas tank, changing the rear suspension, and some light wiring. I can't imagine doing 4 full tear-down projects like this in the same amount of time! Enjoy watching you make it happen.
Keep on keeping on!❤
Im loving the fact that you arent slapping these bikes back together just to run enough for a video. You are actually taking the time to address the issues with them. Got mad respect for you, keep on rolling. It doesnt matter the projects are taking time, every guy/gal has an unfinished project thats been sat for too long or taking time 🤣
Keep things going Craig, I love this stuff!
Hello, my first comment. All of us who restore old bikes and who order parts know that we will be missing something important when we put the bikes together. Perfect that you say it as it is and don't cut together a video where you have parts the next day👍 Things take time in the world of restoration👌 Regards Bjørn Bergset Norway. (I have also ordered specific springs for my upgrades on bikes from Race Tech and they have delivered every time👍)
Hi from Scotland, love your work.. never been on a bike, ever tbh they scare the crap out of me, but i do love the technique you apply to fix. Awesome work indeed!
Take your time my friend. I don't even have a motorcycle and I watch all your videos. Keep doing what your doing. Get done what you can get done. We like watching the journey and we appreciate your honesty. Keep up the good work.
I can't believe I doubted you. Those videos that almost disappointed me don't anymore. I look forward to your content. P.s.
As long as you finish everything and ride it...
I love your videos man, whatever you're doing! ❤
As long as you have your cat, all will be well in the end.
Honestly, hunting for new parts is almost my greatest joy! I really enjoy it! 😂
Legend! Great vid :) Thanks for the update, no rush man, we appreciate the content!
Another good one here! Cheers. 👍
Great update!
Have a great camping trip. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida
Enjoy your down time guys.
Thank you for the interesting peek into the behind the scenes.
Dan, the ending 😂
Just found your channel, and I'm learning and loving every video. Keep up the great work guys.
Good old school advice, cheers Craig. 👍
i know this all too well!
i am in the middle of restoring a 70s honda z50 mini trail. every time i turn around i find something else i need to order.. and wait for..
patience is a virtue!
I can relate to the ordering parts trap. I had a dump truck in the shop for a month. I was waiting on parts to rebuild the steering column. Got those parts in and realized I needed more bearings. And they got delivered to the wrong place. 😮But I did get it done in the end
Your video quality quantity ratio is fantastic. Keep doing exactly what you are! 👍🏻
All in good time my man, all in good time.
Take ur time, I got 4 old bikes on construction right now, and yes is a nightmare, got one honda shadow VT 600, a Kawasaki ninja EX 250 with a rebuild motor and stuff, full conversation to "Neo café". And s Honda XR200R ( Brasil version) rebuild completely. And yes it's a lot of time and money. U get problem after problem, after another problems, take it easy Craig ur the man
Oh and a 78 goldwing GL 1000, just waiting there 😂😅😅
Love your work and never say die attitude Craig. Have watched most of your content, n love it, keep up all your amazing content peace out n best wishes to you and yours from Sth Australia (Morphett vale,Adelaide)✌️☘️🙏👍🇦🇺
Good work Dan!
Honestly I would happily watch one build at a time from start to finish each week (progress allowing). They are all interesting on their own way, it's much easier to follow. I honestly forget which bikes you have in at the time week to week because of the gaps between working on them. Love the work that you are doing! Please come to the UK and fix my knackered 95k mile Honda NTV cheersthanksbye 😂
More good stuff, now go enjoy your weekend Craig !
