@@under90seconds You must be new to F1. Kimi Raikkonen in the tyre war era at McLaren Mercedes was a god. Nothing Alonso has done would top that body of work by Kimi. Sorry. Kimi's driving style was hurt BADLY when the Bridgestone control tyre came into F1 in 2007, but real fans, long-time fans know Kimi from 2003-2006 was basically a god who would have won 2 WDC in 2003 and 2005 if not for his car breaking down. His onboards speak for themselves, Brundle compared his speed to that of Senna at the Senna tribute recently and I've watched F1 since 1981. Deal with it.. Alonso could't even beat Trulli in their races together in 2004.
I'm probably going to be the only person who says this, but I love the sound of that Honda engine, the turbo whine is amazing, not to forget about Alonso's driving and this great video!

ELB I'd take this Honda engine over a lot of f1 engines. It's interesting, just like the 98' McLaren Mercedes and the 65' Honda

I'll be really sad if Alonso passes through the peak of his driving skill with an under performing car and doesn't win another championship. He deserves it more than Ricciardo, in my opinion; Ricciardo's time will come. Even Alonso himself has said that Ricciardo is the most championship worthy of the current grid.

Nando's starts was never about getting away the fastest. IT was about placing the car perfectly, chosing perfect lines and braking points with also taking agvanteges of others mistakes. That's what make it special
Imagine what Alonso could do in a front running car? I remember some races when he was at Ferrari the first lap was breathtaking. I think one race in India was such an event.

He's a bit timid when alongside someone into a corner at the start. Maybe that's the key? His start at Singapore was a masterclass. Unfortunately, Seb had to ruin it. Seb is like the talented version of Maldonado.
