As a Dane, i can tell that most of us dont care about religion. The problem is the difference in culture and unwillingness to adapt to your new country/home. As the intro shows, we are a country where the national dish is pork. All of the sudden people want it banned from institutions because not everybody is allowed to eat it. Just dont eat it, its not forced to eat pork. There are plenty of immigrants who have lived in Denmark more than 10 years, some more than 20 years and they still refuse to learn our language, even such simple things "how are you" they wont understand. Many woman are unemployed their entire life. These are some of the key issues. We are a high tax country, which have many benefits such as free health care, paid education and much more. When a huge group just comes to sit in an apartment and receive our benefits, without ever giving back its bad. We dont have these issues with western immigrants. There is just a huge contrast from Scandinavia to the middle east. That said, there are also many who do adapt and do a great job, the percentage of these people are unfornatualy just much lower compared to western immigrants.
Personaly i could not care where you came from, if you are doing "your part" of being a Dane.
    EDIT
As i probaly wont be reading comments anymore, here are some immigration facts regarding employment and crime rate (might need to translate it).

No ! we take care of our own.. That is why Canada is so great, threw out our history provinces will become have or have not Provinces , and we will support each other when it happens, because it will happen to every Province in time, EVERY province.. because when the oil is gone, we need our brothers. always remember, you never take shit out on the Canadian people, It's the Government ! that's the problem, not our people, I never herd one person in ONTARIO when they lost all their jobs in the Auto Industry and GM is closing another plant at Christmas , and who have struggled just like us to get new jobs ( and that is never easy ) say, " I want to separate because my government couldn't give a shit a bout me " ya, break up the greatest Country on Earth ! that will solve my unemployment problem.

I think the interview with the mum is quite interesting. I am German and I want to immigrate to italy one day. I have traveled many times & I find that I finally found my personal home there. Besides the fact that feeling home is just a feeling, I know that Italians will always see me as „the German“, and I would never expect something different. I also see nothing negative inside this, I will try to adapt as much as possible, but I am also aware that my perspective will always have a German influence or some kind of a German footprint. So even if I wanted to, I could not be an Italian.

It really upsets me to see people, who've been here for many years, not able to conduct a conversation in English, don't give a damn about the culture and seemingly don't contribute anything to the community/society other than financially. Don't get me wrong, I'm no better than anyone but I like to believe I have principles when it comes to moving to a different place. Number one reason for this is because it seeks to be the dominant ideology in the region by its nature. If you tolerate this ideology it will only consume you and replace you in time exploiting democratic constitution for their behalf. The more they multiply the less powerful you will become.

Most muslim women I know don’t wear hijab’s, speak the language properly, respect all genders and sexual orientations, etcetera. They’re often more modern than christians. However this differs a lot per region. The muslims in my town and region are mainly of Turkish descent while the muslims in the Randstad (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, etc) are mainly Moroccan farmers and other muslims coming from less developed region. The key here is that their culture and failure to properly integrated doesn’t come from their religion but from the local culture they grew up in back in their or their ancestors homelands. Turkish and Lebanese muslims differ a lot from burqa wearing Saudi’s.

It's tough being an immigrant - I'm one, I know. I've lived in the US for 17 years, speak fluent English, but still, I get asked where I'm from because of my very slight accent. It gets frustrating because you never feel like you belong 100% and my accent will never fully disappear. By the way, I'm NOT Muslim.
Having said that, when you immigrate to a country you're entering an agreement, sometimes a verbal agreement - you will take on the traditions and customs of the host country that is welcoming you - it's never the other way around.
To all the people that think this is racist, I'd say they're the real bigots. Why? Because small nations like Denmark have traditions and customs that date back hundreds of years - it is very much their CULTURE. Their culture encompasses everything from cuisine, religion, sports, mannerisms, economics, and ways of viewing life. Denmark is consistently ranked as one of the top countries to live in the world - that is undoubtedly directly as a result of their culture. Their culture works and they don't want to change it.
Now imagine if Saudi Arabia or the UAE were ranked as the top place to live in the world, and Christians and Jews from the US and Europe immigrated there in droves and wanted Saudi Arabia to respect and accept their culture. What do you HONESTLY think would happen? Do you think Saudi Arabia would allow non-Halal restaurants to open up in Mecca, serving pork and alcohol in droves. Allowing "unmodest" dress for women?
We all know the answer to that is a RESOUNDING NO. So why should proud nations with STRONG CULTURE that allowed them to prosper, allow competing/parallel cultures into their society? You don't want to live in a Muslim majority country, so don't make it your home - it's THAT SIMPLE - no bigotry, no racism.

@Keep Rocking! Soldiers join the army to make a living, gain experience, and help pay for college. They have no idea what the war machine convinces them to do until they are there. Israel lobbies politicians through aipac and Saudi Arabia blackmails America's currency through sizable oil production (far less of an issue nowadays then it was in the 1970s). Destabilized middle East helps both countries political and economic ambitions. No Muslim country wanted to sell to israel, now US proxies sell oil to Israel. Saudi Arabia wanted to defend it's interests from Iran, now Iran is facing a lot of pressure from America. Iran funds Hezbollah to stop israel, israel uses the US to put pressure on Iran to destroy Hezbollah. The people of the US have very little stake in the middle East and would like to leave, but Saudi Arabia and Israel keeps bribing our corrupt politicians to send our youth to die. I am as sick of this as you are, but the people of the US are not the problem and are working hard to fix the problem. I am from Bosnia, a white Muslim with Slavic roots. I live in Denmark, more precisely in Copenhagen, since 1995. I came as a 9-year-old boy. I came as a war refugee with my mother, after my father was killed in the war in Bosnia.I am highly educated and work as an architect. I live a wonderful life in Denmark and I have always been well received by Danish people.I always felt equal to other Danish people.
Danes are good people and Denmark is a wonderful country. The secret is to accept the rules of the country you come to, to integrate and live as people in that country have lived for centuries. So you show that you respect the country and the people you came to, if you don't do that then how do you expect Danish people to respect you? You have to put the customs from your country aside because you are coming to a new one, not impose the customs from the country you are coming from.Migrants from Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, etc. when they come their bad behavior and customs from their countries take and do not want to change them want to live as they lived in their countries. They do not accept the culture of the country they came to, but impose their culture. They ghettoize themselves into their groups because they do not want to learn the language, do not want to attend integration courses and do not want to go to school. They expect social assistance and do not want to look for a job. They behave uncultured and arrogant, they are very loud on the street, they have no manners and they throw garbage everywhere. They are totally unproductive and prone to breaking the law. Their wives only serve them to give birth to children. They usually have 5-6 children each and they are still on social benefits and on the back of the state.it is quite logical that Danish people want to protect themselves from this. They want to protect their culture from guests who do not appreciate them.I am convinced that if migrants started behaving differently to accept Danish culture, the Danish people would accept them reluctantly. Until then, all support for Denmark and the Danish people from me.
