Oh yes please do some in depth knitting book reviews. There are so many books out there, but it's so hard to get an idea of what they are actually about when you can't browse in store. Getting your opinions would be excellent.

Another wonderful podcast! Thank you for all the inspiration and new subjects to think/knit about. Yes, please keep the book reviews coming and sharing with us all your ideas. I love the vintage hood you just did. Your work is so very wonderful!

yay another podacast! I know i would be interested in knitting book reviews, I don't consume a lot of content around knitting books much, especially not in different languages (although I do want to change that) so it could be fun to see some Japanese ones! Also in regards to colour dominance, it's more to do with the floats than tension! I *think* (not 100% sure xD) you hold the dominant colour in the left hand (i usually hold the contrast one in my left, so that the pattern stands out from the main colour!) and the right hand holds the non-dominat (so for me this is usually the background colour). I think it's to do with how the floats sit on top of eachother? But generally, as long as you don't switch up the hand you holdd each colour in mid project, you'll be alright! ALSO that children's cat jumper??? GORGEOUS! I need it xD
(sorry for the long-ass comment xD my thoughts are so uncoherant soemtimes)

Yeah I heard a lot about colour dominance and then right after I watched this one youtube video of Arne and Carlos who said that colour dominance doesn't exist and it's just bad tension -- whichever way it is, I just try to things out with my swatch and see what works best lol :)
I love the cat jumper so so much!! It's going to be a daunting task to grade, but I think it will be worth it :)) Thanks so much for watching as always!

@@SejiFields that's interesting! I don't really bother much with colour dominance if I'm being honest, I just got told to hold it that way and have ever since xD grading sounds very daunting, good luck!

I follow another knitting podcast you might like, she also likes to make vintage and in other languages, she recently made a vintage Swedish pattern. It's called Emily Kate Made This

I only crochet but I really enjoy your podcast and would definitely be interested in hearing you review knitting books. I may try knitting one day, I'm thinking about it😊
I actually have some Japanese and Chinese crochet/knit books. I can't read them but they have very clear diagrams and I have been able make some great stuff from them

Thanks so much for watching, glad to hear you've been enjoying the episodes! That's something I really like about those JP/CH books, despite being in a different language they're really universal especially if you have some advanced knowledge when it comes to knitting/crochet :))

Yes, I'm so lucky. But I have failed with a few of the more complicated patterns such as sweaters

I'm really enjoying your podcast! You said "one of my moms" do you have 2 moms? You're so sweet to make your boyfriend his sweaters, he's lucky to have a giving gf such as yourself!! Is he dutch? This might be tmi lol

Ah thanks so much!! And yes, I do -- my boyfriend doesn't have any social media so I try my best not to talk about his personal life outside of me knitting for him ;)

I'm afraid that there is no American version of this book available. Sorry!
