      Be able to equip grips.
      It looks as though the AKM is not designed for grips to be attached, but after a google search, I've seen there are AKM's with grips. Could even just attach the vert as with the Tommy Gun.

    It's a bit wierd that they introduced a progressive skin for the AK when not many would choose to use it. Would make a lot more sense to buff it before or when they add the Skin.

    What i hope for the akm
    -Have the damage back to 49
    -increase velocity or rpm
    -grip slot ?
    -some sort of new armour penetration system for AR ?

    AKM could have a grip which can be used.
    Limb multipliers on SMG's should be removed. Having to learn to control the Beryl to only then be deleted by an UMP, is super annoying. I understand the game is not easy for new players, but they can learn to play the game. For example, SMG's in Counter Strike can take way more shots to kill than an AR, but with the low recoil combined with fast fire rates, you will instinctively aim for the head. This can make your aim and recoil control better in general for all weapons.
    I think buffing a lot of the weapons in the game would be a good thing. I don't see the point where players end up using a select few weapons in the game, as the majority of the weapons just don't cut it in comparison. Every weapon has its own uniqueness, and I would personally like to pick a random AR at the start of the game and use it for the entire game without swapping it for an M4 or a Beryl, because I would then have more chance of winning the game. That should be the case for the crate weapons. I am not saying all the weapons should be the same, just buff the seldom used to make the game more interesting.

      I dunno if I agree with the sentiment "learning the Beryl only to be killed by UMP" as implying the beryl should always beat the ump. I mean don't get me wrong, the beryl should be the most powerful rifle considering it is the hardest to use recoil-wise, but I don't necessarily think the rifles should just be considered better guns than the smgs, or like in some peoples minds "smgs are rifles for babies" kinda thing.
      Like I really don't mind the "every shot does more consistent damage" thing the limb multiplier does for smgs, as you have a gun that's primarily designed to be sprayed as you move. It also has the whole slow bullets thing which makes it much less versatile than rifles. I do think that one of the bigger flaws with how smgs are designed is just the amount of damage they can put out to a non-moving target at ranges that seem more than what an smg should excel at (ie ranges where it would make sense to crouch and just fire like a rifle). I would imagine a good compromise is to keep lower recoil + consistent damage for even a non-body shot but gut the damage as the range increases like even at 50m potentially you should start to feel the damage drop-off. That way it would make more sense to use a gun that is better at run-and-gun to try to close the distance to improve your chances at killing. And I mean if you get in a fight where you can't close the distance with an smg you probably brought the wrong gun to the scenario.

      Also smgs in CS are a bad comparison imo, they're meant to be worse than rifles (in general) because of the whole economy system in that game, and also you can only hold 1 gun.

      Sentiment has nothing to do with. PUBG is a difficult game where recoil control and shot placement is key. Having overpowered SMG's to appease new players, may just do that, but it can ruin the dynamic of a game, e.g. A player could wipe several players with good tactics and gun control, and then gets eviscerated by an uncontrolled SMG spray due the limb DMG multiplier. It unbalances the game.
      PUBG should incorporate more modes for players to practice and train themselves. There should be incentives to get better at the game, instead of harvesting as many players as possible to buy in game content.
      Counter Strike does this well with their death match, which has every weapon, is quick and gives you statistics at the end of the game.

      I think it's a great example. SMG's are not meant to be less powerful, they are less powerful. The advantage is less recoil and high fire rates. That means aiming for the head is what needs to be done.
      PUBG and CS are skill based FPS games. Dumbing down games built around skill to attract more players, ruins the game itself.
      If the limb DMG multiplier were removed along with reducing the effective range, there would be more balance.

    Seems like pubg is avoiding a proper gun rebalance overall for all weapons. Not sure tho if its for the fear of breaking the current "inbalance" or what. I think that the best solution for SMG should be a decreaced limb dmg multiplier over distance. As we all kind of agree the smg should be good close combat, but the biggest issue is that you can do exactly the same damage from 100m away no problem. And so the damage over distance of all smg should be dramatically modify to a lower amount. In fact another thing that i feel is stupid is how rapidly smg destroy vest's, even lvl3 vest vanish from a 10 bullet direct spray. If you are going to make the smg do limb multiplier at least make it useless agaisnt vest lvl2 or avobe, so they have to direclty aim to legs, not just randomly hit them while aiming for torso. Maybe you how read this comment, dont agree with me but we should be agreeding at least that the guns need a rebalance. Its stupid how 9mm ammo destroy a vest and the healt faster than a much higher caliber 7,62mm ammo.

    I think the trade off for the smg multiplier should be that the multiplier has a negative effect after a certain distance (maybe reduce the multiplier slightly to begin with as well). So the multiplier reduces to a zero multiplier after 50-75 meters, then after 100 it drops significantly to a fractional multiplier. You can spray someone down with a ump from 150 meters and down them in four limb hits lmao it’s unreal. The ump does 32 damage to the legs…for one bullet. I feel it’s the same song and dance getting killed by a camper with a ump at 75 health unboosted 😂 (Xbox player btw)

      I think the class of guns themselves just need higher damage fall-off at longer ranges in general not even related to the limb multiplier... I don't know the exact data but I think it's something like 20% damage fall-off up to about 200m or something like that, which is a pretty tiny amount considering how far 200m is for a 'regular' engagement.
      I really don't mind the guns being able to spray out pretty consistent damage no matter where you hit, as long as that damage is generally just quickly lowered as you get further away.

    SMG's were goat, pre release up to right before they switched the ump and vector from 9's to 45's. Those were the days when smg's were great. Every time something works pubg changes it and makes it worse or op.

    I never was a hugh Fan of SMGs in general except for the UMP 😅its a Fun Gun but i would always prefer to use an AR with a DMR or a Bolt Sniper. My Combo now is the ACE with the Dragunov or the MK12 with a Sniper its the M24 or the Kar. I dont know but i think they did something to the Dragunov cuz it seems like the Bullet Velocity changed cuz the Bullets are now dropping much earlier and u have to aim a little bit higher to hit Targets and further Ranges. I dont know if it is placebo but it feels like that cuz my Buddy said the same Thing as we ve played. I remember the good old Times as i rocked the AKM and Kar Combo.

    What do you think of my idea to change the limb damage so these smg issues etc go away? Instead of limb damage reducing your health, if you get hit in the limbs it should affect those limbs + you get a slow bleed-out effect like blue zone damage. Then you could have like 3 levels of limb damage, for legs it would say lvl1 you can't sprint, lvl 2 you can't run at all, lvl 3 you can only be crouch or prone + slow bleed-out increases per level. For your arms, it would affect your aim and recoil control. All things in the game already, it would just change up how limb damage works. What do you think?

    I've said it before and I'll say it again. The ak wouldn't be to op or unrealistic if you could put the vertical grip on it. Allowing the grip to be added would make it equivalent to the scar attachment wise since you can't put a stock on it and the other 7.62 rifes can. If they do end up allowing the grip on the ak i hope they replace the whole handgaurd with a grip handgard like you see aks have.

    I just cannot understand the hate on SMG's. When most people use 7.62 or 5.56 then the SMG's need something to try an balance them out against the AR's.
    I would be bored to death if I only played with AR's.

    The AKM needs a reduction on the shake screen and see the results, then, maybe buff it. My boy C Dome should sugest to Krafton about the buff of non meta weapons, because they aged bad. AKM, M16, Scar or even G36 which I love.

      @@CDome but it’s not like there is a world where all weapons are equally used. In every single fps game there are guns less used. PUBG needs some quality of life changes like instantly launch the next game like other titles or movement changes. A slow, methodical br with most players smoking new players sucks. The store sucks to use and is too expensive. Token here coins there $1000…. buffing this gun, reducing that gun 100 times is crusty old.

    I would love to know if the limb damage multiplier is on consoles to…. I feel like on console very very little people use subs unless it’s early game. I would love for whacky or you or someone to see if there’s a difference between console and pc for sub limb damage multiplier.
    Also I built a chroma skin for the SLR during the most recent pass just so I could scrap it, to lvl up my M4. Then I can’t even scrap the chroma SLR or find it causes I don’t have the normal one lmao.

    I'm ok with SMGs. You atleast have to land repeated shots. It's shotguns that need to be removed from the game. The amount of times I've been one pump chumped from a brand new, 0.1 k/d, player is infuriating.

    I have always hated smgs in pubg the limb damage is the dumbest think in the game i refuse to use smgs and despises people that use them there is this one rat player i know only uses vss and vector
