The moment I come across an AR compensator I'm looking for an AKM...hard to ignore that damage output even with the slow rate of fire, it is more controllable than one'd think with that comp on and I find AK has a bit better range than ACE or Beryl. A 3x on AK with comp = surprisingly very manageable recoil.

theresa reason there are exactly 0 proplayers that prefer the ak. If u like it, thats fine, but it just isnt the best ar.
@@dertim929 list of early game guns, that requires least attachments and manageable recoil, which means you pick these and you are ready to rush(hotdrop),

Akm is my top choice in an early game. Absolutely agree. Love the feel from the gun but feels too difficult with scopes

SCAR-L and AK have always been my favourite ARs.
The reason being that they shoot relatively slow, so they're easier to control.
Makes me wanna go back to the game. I'm gonna download it!

I do like the AKM and instead of always going for my normal load out (M416) I sometimes am tempted to rock an AK just for fun. If you have it decked out (comp, ext quick, red dot) it can be lethal but I always find unless I am rocking a 5.56 DMR I can be screwed near end game at mid range.
holy shit. i got killed excacly like this a few days ago in the final 1v1. I had just used med kit and got DELETED by an akm. I thought he oneshot me, but apparently he head-bodied me and killed me in 2 shots in 100ms as u explained. extremly underused weapon, good video

AKM was my favorite AR from the beginning (M4 suppressed was my second). Now with all the changes, I still pick it up over any 5.56 rifle. I use the AKM and Beryl the most now. They both just feel so good after using them so much.

It is my go to weapon any time. Comp, canted sight and a mag, awesome loadout. It's actually not bad semi-firing with a scope mid-range in a pinch
Finally more love to this gun. I'm an AKM fanatic, often dropping even a Beryl for the gun. I feel like when you master the gun, its the easiest AR to control in the game. I've sprayed people from over 200 meters with the gun, and surprisingly, hit almost all the shots. Love this gun and I feel as if its just a perfect do-it-all AR.

Thanks Wackyjacky! Please do a video about Scar-L too, i feel like i'm having the best handling with it fully attached (with halfgrip) while noone plays with it.
The AKM has a very linear spray. Assuming fully kitted on both, an M416 will veer off and have to be realigned, while an AKM spray will generally be quite narrow veer of much less. Because of the low rate of fire it is also much easier to keep track of the spray, so for anyone who struggles to realign sprays (like my cursed reaction time...), the AKM is arguably a better weapon. Fire rate and damage don't mean anything if you can't hit your target dead centre. Furthermore, the AKM has a magazine empty time that is much higher than other assault rifles while doing far more damage per bullet meaning you have a 'larger' magazine for making mistakes (missing) and for shooting cars. Thanks for sharing the damage stats, I didn't look at it like that but always felt it did rather good damage despite the comparisons to other weapons.
Used to be my second least favourite AR (next to the QBZ) but you make some great points Jacky and I think I'm going to have to give it a fair run for a few days now

I've long said that weapons (and what attachments you use) feel different to different people. I live in a world of sound, therefore the suppressor on the AK is the only way I can use it 😅😅-- it does something to the sound that helps me control it & it becomes a much better laser for me. I know that makes no mathematical sense, but it's like 'hearing blue' or 'tasting purple' if you know what I mean.

Since the release of PUBG the AK has always been my favourite AR, closely followed by the SCAR. 3scope AK and 3scope SCAR is the bomb :D

Scar with 3x or 4X scope is too powerful to deal with and with half grip or vertical attachment you can rule the lobby.

Nice, I always felt a sense of non noobieness when using the AKM. Now I know why, I suck at recoil control
AKM was my favorite AR before the sweeping recoil changes long ago. Even though it seemed to get hit harder by the recoil changes it remained my favorite until they nerfed the damage. I really miss being able to do 100 damage with a headshot + chest shot and I haven't used it much since :(

Jacky the mutant is the most underrated, hidden gem of PUBG. Highest damage of any AR.. there is a reason they limit the mag to 20+10(or 12)

I actually used to really like weapon. I always loved it as a close quarters weapon with a 2x scope, extended quickdraw and suppressor.
(Keep in mind this was only when i was a noob)
Since I have gotten the recoil down on the AKM I prefer it over any other AR. Other guns are easily manageable but the AK is so much more of a reward when you kill cause you have to work for it, and the time to kill plus the highest AR damage makes it a no brainer for me. Also I really love the AK iron sight its either a red dot or nothing ill rock the iron sight over any other scope on the AK.
m16 is my favourite overall. but akm on semi with a red dot is really nice. its like the perfect ar to have if u also have a bolt sniper imo

AKM has been my go to weapons when hot dropping
Early game yes, AKM just deletes people - some of the 7.62 weapons kill faster but that iron sight and sledgehammer sound just makes it feel powerful, and the Beryl can be a bit harder to manage unless you are pretty close.
if you know how to use it is the best ar.. and it is fun as hell
Akm with a comp and a holo is my go to and an mk12 with a 4x and comp or suppressor is my favorite setup I run it every game usually
Yes my fav iron sight, easy to max out.
I like it, but for me early game only. Once you have some attachments feel almost every fully auto AR is better. But since I now like the ace as my main it stays in my loadout longer.

when you have to choose a single weapon because you want to use bluechip detector or drone, the akm is a good choise. it's beetwenn a dmr and an ar. if you can't find an mk14.

I am a 7.62 player, but I love the beryl, the akm I pick up if there is no beryl or m4 around, and maybe if I don't want to have two types of bullets because I cannot use 5.56 DMR's if my life depended on it.

Interesting. Why the canted site vs a red dot? But ya. It is a bit of a sniper weapon with a scope.

I use suppressed AKM I feel it more control, Wacky shooting a gun with crouch + lean will reduce recoil a lot but u have to crouch lean with the direction of the moving target so if the target is moving left u crouch lean to left
Imagine thinking you're giving a tip to WackyJaxky who's already known this before you could tie your shoelaces incorrectly.
I've had some of my best games when I used the ak but for some reason I always opt for an m4, beryl or ace. I think in my mind an AR with all the attachments on is by default better than something like the ak even though that isn't necessarily true.
If you haven't already. Should do one on the Mk12 and how it's a 2 bullet kill, one to arm/thigh/body and then 1 to head. Stupid damage model on that gun people just spray and get lucky with it all the time.
i thought running akm until phase 6 circle was normal. god tier gun. because for some reason its seems to match the inherent spray patterns in other games imo

I usually doesn't feel bad early game, but I am not a fan later, I prefer ARs I can attach a 6x to and do easy scoped sprays like the M4 and Ace32. I love looting so the attachments required are usually not an issue.
I always can laser people far away with a 3x akm on a controller. Once you go 4x and higher tho the horizontal gets a little hectic. Still the 6x is even great on it

WackyJacky101 have show some information about AKM, Beryl M762 and ACE32. But some is a little old and they have change a little since then but I'm curious if you find a AKM, Beryl M762 and a ACE32 on the ground, what to pick and why. But I also like a compare with SCAR-L, M416, G36C and K2.

It might sounds weird, but since i lowered my sens by a lot i've been lasering ppl with AKM, feels super natural for me to pull down that much to control it, i can almost shoot 10bullets in a single dot till some horizontal recpil kicks in

And the AK is one of my favorite rifles to use. And I only use the iron sights. It doesn't need a red dot. Just ask my best friend and the only person I play PUBG with.
