This was such a sweet family scene. Beckett and Alexis relationship has grown so much from seasons 5 to 7. Remember when some fans thought Alexis hated Beckett? Now she has the up-most respect for her,.Castle's face when Alexis kissed Beckett cheek was priceless. He was like when did this start.
"Bye Bud" I love that! Also Kate's face at the same time as Castle's reaction when Alexis talked about going to meet a client...Did anyone else find that looked like she was completely protective of her, like in a maternal way?
gawd. to think that in the beginning, "ohh love is in the air" and then, BAMM! marlowe sends us to a devastating (yet amazing, scary, mixed feeling) cliffhanger.. i am left speechless.
I wonder if anyone has noticed that the dialogue is sharp and quick. Kind of reminds me of those great old movies from the 1930s and into the 40s. Check out, "His Girl Friday" with Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell. The dialogue was so sharp and so well timed.
Loving this scene, and loving this show! OMG a show that finally pays off on the things it teases, and it is teasing the possibility of Castle Babies in the future! xD Fangirling aside though i wonder what that would do to the show if Beckett was pregnant. she wouldn't be on the field for work anymore right, she goes into dangerous situations all the time, can't do that with a baby. Suppose she could still be the one that puts the pieces together.. but her roll wouldn't be the same... I don't Castle and Beckett having a baby.. it might change the show alot.. unless they do it in perfectly.
It might work if Beckett became captain and a new female detective joins the team. I like Gates but come on, it's time for Beckett to take the captain position now.
radient2001 i don't think you can be captain so quickly, i mean, kate is just a detective, dunno which grade, but she should apply for sergent first, then lieutenent and finally captain.. oh well, just to talk, you know :D
I agree it would change the show, but it really wouldn't change her work life, too much, aside from not using a gun (because the gun residue and the chemicals involved are harmful) and going to the morgue (again, chemicals). She can keep doing what she's doing now, but it would probably be a good idea to have Espo or Ryan tag along with her rather than her going everywhere alone. Just saying.
That’s gotta be such a great feeling, I can only imagine having such a wonderful, beautiful, smart, tenacious, badass wife as Kate & her thinking ab having kids w me. What a dream that would be, only 23 now hope I can find that one day
While watching the episode I got this horrible idea. Why would they mix babytalk with Nieman/3xk in one episode? So maybe Nieman does something so Kate can't get pregnant anymore. Then I thought this is way to extreme for an ABC show but still the idea stuck. Aaaarrrggghhh. Bad feeling.
tell me about it whatever happend between season seven and eight to the writers maybe they had a stroke or something and lost their ability to write or this new writer just sadly...sucks its tragic
