This is actually one of the only complaints I had with this show. I wish they would have shown more of Kate and Alexis getting closer and having their own bond together. I think it would’ve added even more to a great show and it would have also made moments like the one in this video mean more.
We deserved like 3 more seasons of this show. At least! It truly was special and I’ll never forget it. So many Beckett Alexis and Castle moments we missed out on💔

@ Charles Marquez. You're right. Molly is at university, now, and probably just too busy to be on set as much. There's a really GREAT Alexis/Beckett moment in some out-takes...where they share a hot cocoa. It's really great character development, but I think most of the time, their moments get cut, or aren't even written, because there just isn't time for it. It's not the focus of the show. If this were a family drama, on the other hand, we'd have tons of such moments. I think, that last scene, far better than the exchange between Alexis and Beckett, is the "squee" that Castle gives as he hugs his baby. Totally makes you see how glad he is. Ooooh! And another great moment is when Alexis calls Beckett to ask her advice about taking an international exchange situation. That, as early as that was in the relationship, Alexis would ask her advice on something so important, shows how much she likes and respects her.
The relationship Between Alexis and Beckett is not like a toxic relationship between a step mother and her step daughter. It is a relationship like Two sisters. Beckett is like a older sister for Alexis. This foccus in the show gone very good
"You know that I don't take sides on anything between you and your dad right?" Since WHEN?!? Beckett is ALWAYS taking Alexis' side. Usually with some stupid anecdote about how when she was a teen she was waaay more rebellious and her dad trying to do anything just made her even mooore rebellious and so castle should just be quiet and let Alexis do whatever she's gonna do.
I think little castle's might not to be to far off as Beckett would make such a great mother. But then I would like to see an episode where Beckett and alexis have there own investigation to do. be interesting to see.
I think there are two other Kate and Alexis moments that I think you missed. It was early on in the series with Alexis in precinct where Kate got her a job in the file room, and at the end of that episode where Alexis found a book of pictures and Kate let her return it to a family member.. Not sure what episode was it.
I know Nathan and Stana aren’t good ‘friends’ but I really hope Stana and Alexis’ actress are. I just hope it’s only those two. I still want to think Castle’s actors are friends, a few. I love this series, still.
The actor who plays Castle has a new show called " ROOKIE"" (well it has 3 seasons at least now) and he has had guest appearances on his new show by the actors who played the two male cops in Castle.

Beckett's cool with Alexis. She knows that at this point the girl needs a sister more then a mother and that's how she acts. Love it

When Beckett had that talk with Alexis I feel that's when she became officially a part of Castle's family
