It is so sad that I've forgotten how good friends they are after Caskett got together! I know this show has been about their love story, but I would have loved to see much more girlfriend time with Lanie and Beckett!

Lanie and Kate were awesome together. And somehow they were the first characters kicked off the show. No wonder the show went under.
they where the females with the biggest playchecks. Moving two partimers up cost less and Stana burnt some brownie points when she missed three episodes
@@haroldcarfrey4381 and couldn't they cut down on episodes instead of firing two women? The way to reduce costs is also found without firing people but the layoffs probably occurred for other reasons.
I'd rather have no new castle episodes than new ones without Lanie and Kate. Don't even get me started on the audacity of the network, trying to erase these two. I don't care about the justifications, it was plain stupid.

Could not stand either one of them and I really hated the season(s) when they also started getting involved in the cases instead of only being the (useless) supporting roles.

Its pathetic that Katic/Jones got kicked to the curb in order to keep castle for another season and what they would of been payed will go partially into pay raises for the remaining cast. Make no mistake Fillion and others will get a bump in their contract if a 9th Season happens and ABC should remember that a series that betrays fans loyalty often struggle to remain in syndication for long.
