Annoyingly, no. Most jurisdictions have an assessed rate and a market rate, and you pay taxes on the assessed rate. The market rate can be completely unrelated, but that's the rate you'd claim if you wanted to use your property for collateral for business loans.
I'm amazed he didn't use the same property as collateral for multiple loans. That seems like the most obvious scam to run, but maybe he's got some advisor actually smart enough to explain how easy it is to get caught doing that...

So, as opposed to the Chump household and the current Republican Party, every where else in society deceitful/duplicitous actions are seen as signs of low character or integrity. In addition to adding a clause that admits to lying, the final signature on any bank contract contains a phrase similar to : "I affirm the information supplied to be true to the fullest extent of my knowledge under penalty of law......"

The stench of arrogance in this family is getting very strong. djt needs to be committed and his children need to go to prison for a time and never allowed to due business in NY and, any business they want to do in any other state should be monitored at his expense.

The lawyer asking Don jr questions bursting into laughter at his idiocy is OUTSTANDING. He clearly thinks it means he has a good rapport with the lawyers, meanwhile she can’t believe he just admitted to knowing nothing about ethical business practices. Congrats Don jr, you played yourself.

she's using a great interrogation technique. when you get a clown cracking 'jokes', laugh and act entertained by what they're saying and they stay off guard and keep on talking.

Not to give Don Jr. any credit, especially given his crappy attitude about the deposition, but that answer about GAAP is what almost anyone who isn't either actively in business school or a current accountant/former accountant would tell you about GAAP. I absolutely studied it in school, but I 100% remember nothing about it off the top of my head. Unless you have some reason to actively retain that information, you're not going to, and in the Trump's case they've got enough accountants they work with to not need to remember anything about GAAP personally.

the clause he keeps citing, warning the other party not to believe anything in the contract, is almost literally saying "I AM A LIAR AND A FRAUD".

His stupidity is cavernous. And I’m not just saying that because he’s an abomination. If he were born into any middle class family instead of a wealthy one, he’d be terminally unemployed and likely have a criminal record.
