A friend of mine drove his moped all season and we live in North Dakota, aka it gets pretty brutal here. Somehow he was always the one who could get through a snow storm and the bad weather. I always thought it was halarious
If you ride like you're on egg shells and be patient it can be done. I've done many times riding my Vespa to work in the snow. Also allow extra time for journey so you're not tempted to ride faster.

Scooters can be used in all weathers it’s a myth about them only being used at summer I’d rather take a bike than try push my car when I get stuck
