Do not use priceline express deal, price listed is not total!

Booked an express deal listed as 46% off and total of $60.97. When I checked in, hotel wanted extra $45 for resort fee. Nowhere during priceline checkout did they disclose that this price is not actual total.
Priceline says they don't disclose resort fee because the hotel is unknown for express deal. So how can they list a price and saving without knowing final price? How good of a deal is it to the customer if actual price can be ANYTHING because they don't know the hotel or extra charges until after they paid priceline?
They just lost one customer and I hope this saves you from this surprise as well.

Priceline is the worst travel agents to deal with. When bringing up problems that arise with airlines - expect no assistance or help. For instance, I had an international flight that I was told by the airline that the flight was delayed and I would not make the connection, I was told to contact the airline and basically make the necessary arrangements myself - no help from Priceline. Then when I can't make the arrangements do to airline schedules - Priceline offers less than 1/2 reimbursement of my ticket. DO NOT USE PRICELINE unless you want to have your money stolen with an excuse!!

Pretty much all hotels charge it. Just assume it. Happened to me before thru a different site.

It was listed on your contract or accept page...that hotel might charge u.....hotel fee etc ....😂😂😂 Yet u accept it w/out reading the disclosure
