Hello there, This is the first Stall Archetype Deck I featured on this channel, Stall is an interesting archetype but it's not for everyone and there's a little to none source materials to learn with. I remember when I was practicing stall there's barely any videos I can analyze.
I hope you guys will still support this video regardless
Since, Stall game takes a long time to conclude, I decided to Include only TWO footage this time.
The TWO Footage includes, Stall vs Combo Deck and Stall vs Aggressive Deck as for suppose the third footage, surely no one wants to watch a Stall Mirror match so I decided to not include it.
Thank you!
P.S The Deck is called Death Penalty, and I personally think that this is probably the most competitive deck to include Neuvillette based on his kit.
Honestly, would love to view mirror matches. They help in further analysing and understanding decks, in my opinion. As someone who prefers slower matches where I have time to think, having a creator/ creators' videos to refer to, is extremely helpful.
Thank you for the video. Please feel free to post any sort of GITCG content you like. Will watch with utmost enjoyment.
Thank you, I would include it next time @@ukaikeishin8212
@@XeiiryuuTCGHurray, looking forward to the next video. 🎉
Huh just noticed a weird mechanic. Liben didn't trigger at 15:15 because vanarana took two hydro dice before liben could take 3 different dice. Nice gameplay just thought I'd share
Yup, I initially thought the system will prioritize the 5 dice to went in smoothly, but it seems getting the aligned dice to Vanarana is the priority sequence.
the first match was an absolute masterclass on how to stall vs. OTK. Those swaps were beautiful
Thanks, glad you watch it despite of being lengthy
Can you explain why it worked so well? Like why were they constantly swapping even though they could go for freezes with neuvilette while still prepping his skill?
keeping the freeze for the right time, swap stalling to mitigate damage and equip high value cards for the late game.@@dereckndiku8540
Very well played, your understanding of this game is outstanding!
Thanks! 😊
5:56 - 6:00 Oh, the pain, just from 1 Arcane Legend card.
the second game had me totally on the edge of my seat, having neuvillette basically solo the second half of the match was so cool to watch🤩 so happy to see my favorite character be good in tcg🤭
Yup, I was also betting that they don't have a woven to kill my Layla but yea it happens, worth the risk though!
woah nice! this is going in my decks to try playlist definitely, by the way you played in these rounds are really good.
Thank you!
The fortress of meropide is a mini versión of the arcane lol
And can even proc more than the arcane for the same dice cost
They should either make the arcane 0 cost or make it not have usages and last for the whole round
Me thinks
6:26 wrong edit, sorry for this one
Lmfaoo i thought the edit was for a brilliant quick swap freeze 😂
@@Azrael3445 ngl the timing of the edit mistake kinda fits! 🤣 but yea i only use that transition to change deck match up.
I have one question for first round , what do you mean side step revolve ? still i don't understand , Do you sometimes use it??
Hello I'm not sure what is side step revolve? maybe it's on the other term? i'm sorry
@@XeiiryuuTCG sorry !I'd like to know what the meaning of changing characters over and over again is.
Oh! I see, this deck main gameplay is to mitigate the damage and slowly ramp by using high value cards, by doing so your opponent will deplete their resources (Cards/Foods/Event Cards etc..) and you have the upper hand end game because of all those high value cards you played early on (TOTM Tenshukaku etc..)
This is deck is a stall archetype.
Switch switch switch switch and I didnt understand nothing. High level game play.
.... too many swich movemenyt... is opponet ok?
May i ask why you use barbara instead kokomi?😊
Hello there, Barbara is just the sole reason why Stall deck exist. She is the G.O.A.T support for the Stall decks with team wide heal, cleanse and a talent for a 0 cost swap which very impactful for the stall playstyle, after her there is Kokomi and Xingqiu which replacing each other depends on the deck build.
This deck in particular used to run Xingqiu instead of Neuvillette and I personally think in some cases Xingqiu can still be more fit here than Neuvillette.
to be honest I don't know what's going on at the first match. Why are they switching so much?
?
their yelan otk version is Jeht, they are trying to set up Jeht to burst.
5:50, why not quickswap and freeze Yelan again? She'd be down to 1 HP if you used Neuvillette's skill so they couldn't dare end on her again, they'd need to waste a quickswap if they wanted to ult on her after that turn
Thanks for pointing that out, much appreciated. I had missed that line as I was intending to tank their Jeht procs even from the beginning, then freeze TM with Barbara suppose they go there, and use quick swap Neuvi right after they use Signora Quickswap.
@@XeiiryuuTCG Oh, okay!
I don't have the confidence to tank Yelan OTK even with an all healer team so I always try to incapacitate Yelan before her burst, so that's all I was thinking of, it didn't even occur to me that you were planning to tank 😂
But preventing Yelan from bursting is overall a better plan. Thanks for pointing that out because I totally missed the line. @@justapasserbyrandomperson9325
Yeah the deck is good but your gameplay was godlike. If that was me i could have failed much earlier. Those switch stall and timing the heal were sick
Thanks ☺
I definitely agree. All throughout I was confused of his gameplay, I was just thinking about attack attack attack and not why?
this deck gameplay is to mitigate damage, and slowly ramp by using high value cards, survive till the opponent run out of gas to fight back and finish the game.
@@XeiiryuuTCGI always fail to recognize a good opportunity to do a swap stall. Any tips abt when or when not to use them?
Hello, playing stall deck is probably one of the hardest archetype in Genshin TCG, Because it doesn't follow a pattern and it's a reactive deck instead. I can give you a few tips but most of the time you still need to rely in your own judgement.
1. Work around your Barbara cleanse, think carefully about the turn priorities and avoid self hydro-application.
2. Always anticipate they have breakpoint cards on hand, (such as Tandoori Adeptus Heavystrike Cryo/Pyro Resonance etc etc.) so you need to be familiar in your opponent's deck if their deck runs these cards.
3. Your goal is to deplete their resources (cards foods etc etc) so do not play greedy and take time to out survive them late game by playing high value cards early on (perma ramp cards and equipment).
4. NO sacrifice is the cleanest stall game you would ever want. but suppose you have to sacrifice a character, think carefully which one has the least value among your characters.
5. Lastly, If you're playing a Layla stall, Do not just freeze whenever you can. especially when the opponent runs a solo carry deck. keeping your Layla stack to 3 and threaten a freeze using your two hydro characters is a more effective strategy to make it awkward to your opponent to switch on their carry character.
