  • This week we are going to take you out ATV trail riding to explore the Cat Hole Trail and trail system. Primarily in Claremont New Hampshire there are over 55 miles of ATV and UTV trails to travel. If you like mud and challenging terrain you will find it here. A popular spot on the weekends. Organized as part of the Sullivan County ATV club.

That was a great trail. You would be better off running tires that aren't strictly for mud. I was most impressed by the guy in the stock Ranger. A UTV keeping up with machines built for trails.

I want to explore cathole but I really don't want to go swimming with my ATV 😂 I don't mind floorboard deep water or maybe higher but anything deeper is not my thing as I'm not a "mud" rider..though I do like that thick sticky mud, that's fun to ride through

Most of the deep puddles have work arounds. If you want knee deep there is lots of it.... all in all still good trails. Muddy, yes, for sure.

We had hot dogs and steak on this trip. Not very fancy but definitely tastes good one You have an op afternoon stop on a trail. Yeah I kind of stay away from that deep water. I don't like spending the day wet. And I don't want a chance flooding my engine. Happened to a few of my friends a few trips ago. They can have that sense of adventure. I'm sticking to the easy. Lol

    Don’t need a helmet there?

    • @BackcountryNomad

New Hampshire is a no helmet state.....We still wear them when we are being crazy or steep terrain.

@@coltonhull-uj9ft these machines are tons of fun for sure. We're limited for places to ride in New England but these are some of the best. I'll see you out on the trails

It’s mostly our own locals that trash it
