Why should we do that ? What is the advantage of doing that ? There is a chance if stent might be stuck with guide extesion

Do not expand a stent in a guide extension catheter (GEC).
But I have read a study stating that a stent expanded in the GEC caused significant problems during PCI.
This film depicts the bailout process in such a predicament.
