2hours 50 mins SEEKING HELP Talking to a professional. Im a Train driver with 2 suicides in 13 months under my belt. I was offered a 1800help number from work for the first one ....but sought psychologist and psychiatric help after the 2nd. P.t.s.d. is no joke. Smells get to me still. im still talking to doctors its 4 years almost going from the first one 19.12.20 the second 16.02.22 Get help seek support. Heal as best you can. Glad you're doing what you need to in order to take care of yourself. Too many people are afraid of the stigma or feeling weak or something. Just get help if you need it folks, you're not only going to help yourself you're going to be a better person for the people you love.

someone get joe teti a mental health person. he sure looks the part. buffed, shirt. i worked for DoD/DoS for over a decade in the region he is speaking of. how this guy is BS'ing:
anyone (anyone at all) that went OCONUS for the agency and "did anything" he said he did, would not wispier a word to anyone and especially attempt this BS of trying to claim he is "a" CIA combat veteran. please folks, someone from YT pull these actors and clowns off the network.
IF THIS GUY AND HIS (hitman for cia) "TITLE" WAS REAL and authentic.
the FBI and others would be at his door the next day. first with a cease and desist order from the agency and possibly handcuffs, a warrant and more. that does not happen with this buffoon. why? because it is BS and story's.
that is a definitive testament to teti's severe mental health issues that a realistic, factual statement.
This is one of my favorites. I can listen to this guy speak for days it seems like. Keep up the great work.

I would love that, but although I’m a big fan of Joe. For another SF guy to put them on there, don’t see it happening just due to he’s one of the few people that’s been kicked it out of the special forces association. I personally think it was wrong he was kicked out. I don’t know if this has been fixed since then this happened back over 10 years ago, I wish that would’ve been talked about in this interview but hopefully one day he will be on Shawn Ryan

Not that I’m shit talking those guys, but I’ve heard their stories on a dozen different podcasts. When I come to your channel, I get to hear fresh stories, from bad ass people, whom I wouldn’t be exposed to otherwise.
As a veteran, I cannot fathom doing to one of my brothers, what was done to this man. He is the pedigree of American that we do not deserve, and that is what makes him so incredible. He sacrificed so much of his life so that the people who tried to destroy his life, could sleep easy at night. Oorah, Hooah, and Tertia Optio brother. Much love.

Ive watched so many of your podcasts and have not made a comment, or felt the need. Watching Joe Teti, talk about the loss of his friend and how it impacted his life and how he deals with it. The way he talks the entirety of it, there are very few people I hold in regard that I would be honored to meet them. I will say that this man has got to be the most humble dude I have ever listened to dudes a stud and a half without even knowing it! The dude doesnt hide behind some false shield and armour. Alot of wisdom and pain seen in those eyes. I really wish him the best.
People hate on him so hard, and I just don't get it!! He speaks with nothing but humility, respect, humbleness, honesty, and admiration for the men he worked with, for, and around..... I've never heard him gloat or be boastful in any way, not once. If anything he is self deprecating and he downplays his badassness lol. That's how a real gangster acts and talks, bc they're not trying to convince themselves or anyone else what's what, they already know!!! Big respect and thanks to Joe, and much appreciation for Julian and all the hard work he does for this show! ✌️

Great interview. I honestly haven't seen Joe since Dual Survival. Him and Matt Graham were my favorite and it was the only seasons that I bought so I could rewatch them. Pisses me off that stupid drama was a part of why we didn't get more of the two of them. I really enjoyed how Joe and Matt came from two totally different perspectives and backgrounds when it came to primitive survival although they respected and understood that fact and still were mature enough to still be a solid team, Keeping priorities in order and that is surviving not a competition.

The last 20 minutes of this podcast, Joe talking about losing his friend, survivors guilt is a MFER. Survivors guilt and moral injury is by far the biggest reason for mental health related suicides in military / veteran / operator / LEO / First responder community. It was and is still the hardest thing I deal with personally from my experience in Afghanistan with those I couldn’t save.

Joe, I lost a teammate and good friend as you did. It was on active duty. I blew my knee out on a hot LZ so was getting patched up real quick to get back at it. I was to take a bird forward to control CAS. So Kevin went forward and I was gonna catch up. The bird went down. To this day it is a Demon I can't shake. I also can't shake ODOR-INDUCED RECALL. Kevin was a brother and I loved as such. And it usually occurs at the most inconvenient times. Many tears shed and memories. But at same token, that is a reminder to me of that unwavering brotherhood and to which we have each other's back instinctively. Loved watching your shows with Cody.
