Loved the last interview with this remarkable gentleman Julian, I should've subscribed sooner because I have been watching some of your content for a while now and this is coming from across the pond in Little Old England, UK.
WMD is NBC (Nuclear, Biological & Chemical)
LFG! Now I know what's running tonight next to whatever else I will do.
We love ol Matty ! ❤️
Who was the woman that walked past him amidst the helicopter wreck? Did I hear that part correctly? By the way awesome podcast
When he says his OTC instructor would say do something, even if it’s wrong do something but don’t stand there. Man. My dad was a 23 year old platoon sergeant in Vietnam. For as long as I can remember he would tell me when things go south just make a decision. Even if it’s wrong it’s better than no decision. It has served me well.
Good point of view, IMO don't think the guest wanted to say he unlived people. Very good man IMO
My father always said the same thing. “Fuccing do something! Even if it’s wrong just do something”
Something is better than stagnant ❤
The man who raised me was a Vietnam veteran, most likely MACVSOG from the documents I've seen.
He gave me the same advice growing up. "Make a choice and never doubt your decision. What's done is done."
My muscle memory to cover my head while landing a PLF has saved my life and face from various motorcycle, diving, and bicycle accidents in the 40 years since I've left the 82nd.
Caught up on 188 yesterday and to see 189 come out so quick is making my Monday. Let's go boys!!
YESSIR!
Dale talking about the survivors guilt is probably one of the most important parts of the entire discussion for me.
A lot of civilians don’t understand that PTSD isn’t always feeling bad for things you’ve done. Sometimes it’s the things you didn’t do, the things you couldn’t control, the “what ifs”.
I was never a Tier 1 guy like Dale, but I did take life in Fallujah and Ramadi. It may sound bad, but it never bothered me much at all. But seeing victims of suicide bombing victims, seeing kids and women victimized, losing brothers? That wrecked me. I lost 18 brothers throughout my career, and I still struggle w/ it everyday. A lot of guilt, a lot of anger and self loathing. I wish more combat vets talked about it.
Damn, Zachariah. I’m sorry to hear about that man. I cannot imagine what you feel like. Hang in there man.
God bless and thank you for your service. forever grateful for you and your brother's sacrifice.
It don't matter if u were Tier 1, a cook, or a truck driver....... u risked ur ass and served nonetheless, and at the very least that's something to be proud of! I truly hope ur days going forward are filled with the good memories of ur brothers and of the guys that made it home with and bc of u, instead of the dark thoughts and all the loss. 🙏 Much easier said than done obviously, but stay strong brother..... ur bravery and willingness to speak up could inspire others to do the same. Thank u for ur service and thanks for sharing a small piece of ur story with us ✌️
Taking life never bothered me as well. I was in the Palestinian Authority. Americans believe that my ptsd consists of flashbacks and and lack of sleep etc. it looks more like anger issues, loss of memory and avoiding certain scenarios that stress you out. It literally just looks like stress. I’m not sure about you but for me it gives anxiety, I get stressed out or nervous randomly and it’s rather annoying. More of an inconvenience than anything.
>A lot of civilians don’t understand that PTSD isn’t always feeling bad for things you’ve done. Sometimes it’s the things you didn’t do, the things you couldn’t control, the “what ifs”.
I confess, to Almighty God, and to you my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned. In my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and what I have failed to do; through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Virgin Mary, all the angels and saints, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
I can listen to Dale an joe tell stories for hours I normally don't watch long videos but these guys tell it how it is
Dont we all
Lmao
How "is it" ???
"Im not courageous...... im confident" ...... damn he said that like a stone cold fact!!! JD, I could listen to u and Dale talk all day, the pod is super entertaining but also informative and makes me reflect on my own life. Dale seems like a really great leader of men ✌️
Dale Comstock.... all heart.
Yes
All heart and GIANT brass balls!!🤣 That man is a true badass and has so much wisdom and life experiences to share. Phenomenal 2 episodes with Dale!
Imagine seeing this guy coming at you with an AR
I read Dale Comstock’s book “American Badass “ it was great. He’s a true Patriot and warrior.
💯💯💯
Quit diminishing the meaning of these once powerful terms that you dont understand. Everyone who pull a trigger for miney or because they were told to isn't a "patriot ". You litterally dojt even know what the term once meant. You all have made it an all but worthless term.
A wonderful example of so many things. The balance of compassion and wisdom in practice to this degree is such a great thing to see.. A rare gem.
Dale seems like such a good dude. He reminds me so much of the guys I grew up around and with my dad. I bet he’s a fun guy to hang out with.
Steve Buscemi interviewing Comstock is going to be a classic
Julian I recently found your channel and when I say recently I mean around 3-4 months ago but I really enjoy your style and I appreciate you letting your guests expand without interruption like some channels, which I won’t mention, but I’m glad you were able to sit down with Dale because this man from what I can tell based on watching and listening to this episode is a man that I think our younger generations of young men growing into who they are going to become should definitely inspire to be and even men our age who might still be lost or searching for purpose and don’t have necessarily great role models. And to be honest I have never heard of this hero before and I’m glad men like him are still alive. But much love for what you do and I wish you all the success in the world in whatever avenue you choose to take going forward in your life as well as your friend that helps run the podcast off camera who sits to your left. Forgive me for not remembering his name but the same goes for him as far as success in any avenue or avenues that he decides to go down as well going forward in his life. Keep up the good work that you guys do. And to Mr. Dale Comstock much love and respect. Peace and love from North Carolina. ✌🏻❤
You and Shawn Ryan have the best podcast’s dude.
That is some pretty insane company right there man - thank you!
Gotta throw Danny Jones on that list too. His interviewing skills have improved greatly and his guests have been stellar.

I want to personally apologize to Julian I made a comment the last time he had this guy on that he was an annoying podcaster because he kept talking and wouldn’t let the guy finish his story. This was a much better episode. So Julian if you see this comment. I’m not for being rude with the last comment. You/ your show have improved and I am a subscriber.

Julian I am so impressed and grateful for ur input and it’s not just the supreme guest u have on thank u
I'm glad to see you bring the real side out of people. Every podcast this guy goes on paints him as the man's man military dude when he def has a deeper side. Lot of good topics!😊
Love the video as always! Funny story, my uncle served in the Navy years ago, and eventually worked for the state dept & worked/maintained the Embassy where the whole black hawk down situation took place, simply before it took place. Leading up to that point, when everything went down with the locals etc, He was one of the service men who no only rescued others from the embassy itself but also had to run trips out in armored cars to get others out of the field and back to the embassy in order to get on the choppers and get out. Some of the things he told me about it and that he had to do will forever remain in my head when thinking of him and what he went through. I didn't know this to just a few years ago because he doesn't speak about it much. Before he got out, he went back to get the flag down to take with him. He wrote the report on what happened and what would happen IF the sent more men and aid back in to try to help, which they did and which also became the black hawk down scenario. The flag now is in DC and he is forever a hero! I have so much respect for him as well as this man here as well! Thanks for everything!! Much love brother!
Another hit! Julian keeps bringing the fire.
Keel up the good work brother!! another fire podcast 🙏🤘
what an amazing powerful and inspiring pod!
New sub. Best podcast ever. Didn’t want it to end.
Excellent interview!! 🇨🇦
Thank you!
Dale never fails to deliver and big props Julian for your excellent questions as always! 🤜🤛
That story about his friend dying in his arms, and him telling the family….. that one got me.
In Jesse Ventura's case he was never actually suing Chris Kyle he was suing the publishing company. The news in media just tried to frame it like he was suing his family.
I was one of the people who initially believed Kyle too because he represented something I never became and I have civilian guilt for not following in my father’s footsteps. I graduated high school in 79 and nothing was going on and no one encouraged service in my middle upper middle class town. When I learned it was all a lie I actually felt bad for Ventura.
What Jessica did was discusting. Suing Corporations takes food out of the mouths of rich people and their families.
I was Navy Cook in the Seabees for 4 years. I’m 50. My kids are raised and I’m in great shape. I would go back and cook omelettes tomorrow if they would let me. 43:32

Relax there seagal the omelets will be ok.

Great episode, amazing guest … question for you Julian is there a site or something someone can do to check on someone’s military record ?
Thank you brotha! If there is, I’d love to know it haha
what a great interview
Good video Julian
Thank you!
Love this podcast it’s becoming my favorite along with VIGILANCE ELITE AND MIKE RITLAND
A slouching guy introduced himself to me as a former Marine . He didn't even look me in the eye as he mumbled his introduction.
I didn't get his name. I think it was Toe Tag? Joe Bag ?
So I asked him if he'd ever been to Paris Island ? Camp Lejeune ? Pensacola ...?
Guy said " Nope , I was stationed in California...I did my 2 week Basic Training there before I went to Iraq . I graduated BUDS an Officer & a Green Beret".
I have never laughed so hard as I threw the 4ft sac
out of my Combat Wounded Vietnam Veteran Navy Corpsman Retired Sr. Chief Fathers house .
I politely asked our mutual friend , that brought him over , to " Never bring that Stolen Valor wanna be lead magnet back to my Father's 2nd Amendment defending home . He's Ammo bait and Im a Daddy's Girl ."
God Bless all yall !
Thank You for serving so that I dont have to.
I just wished his Judge /Parole Officer would've sentenced him to Basic at some point in his life.
Im pretty sure those facial tattoos were from being incarcerated at some point in his youth.
Maybe he'd have some self respect, be able to stand up straight and properly address a lady .
I have friends that were sentenced as Juveniles to Basic. It saved there lives
& they are Honorable people .
OOOH-RAH !
❤❤❤
Awesome episode Julian and Dale! BTW, I recently finished reading the "Fourth Turning" and you offered a great synopsis of the book. I suggest everyone give it a read.
Thank you! Amazing book

What's good @julian Dorey ✌🏾
Malcolm whatsup my guy!
Waterboarding segment is comedy gold 🤣
Its ok to not let kids graduate because the ruling class wants amazon driver's. The us has no interest in having a chinese method of education. Corporations own the government
Yessir
Agreed on corps run the government , ruling class or rich just want to be more rich and that’s it. Some rich people are more social (tech rich) and see the value of an educated population to hire and help their company grow, old rich want people to stay dumb, fat, full of government stimulus to constantly consume the products they sell. The old rich have pushed common folk to the end of the line in consumerism exploitation
Yeah they want us confused and stupid this way it’s easier to Control us🙃
I have friends that lived and worked in mainland China as foreign teachers. Their education system isn’t what we in the US believe it to be. It’s mostly propaganda made by their government to lead us to believe they’re more advanced than they really are.
While they do control curriculum from top to bottom, the rigorously stringent type of education they’re allowed to learn doesn’t advance their knowledge at all. They just force them to memorize things like robots. That’s why when Chinese students go to college in the US, they struggle with writing, critical thinking, and applying their knowledge in creative ways.
While their government does ban certain activities with social media, there are still tons of kids mindlessly swiping tik toks of kpop and other nonsense. The only difference is their government encourages parents to not let kids play more than an hour of video games and they also banned certain boy bands from their internet because they thought it was emasculating their youth.
It’s to the point where I feel like our government is an oligarchy not a democracy. They just use different methods to get what they want but in the end the corporations ALWAYS get what they want.
Wanna see the definition of a true warrior patriot and savage its this guy right here ty for your service dale
^^Retweet
this was incredible pod found it interesting he didn’t want to mention anything about desert storm
Ahhhhhh I love that! I look out the windshield not the rear view!!!
interviews with people like this give me hope in america still
This country needs more men like Dale.
Thank you gentlemen
Dale is the man!! Glad to have him back on and it's really cool to see a solid, respectable, and credible guy lend credibility to Joe Tetis story........ Joe has endured so much hate and BS from people who will never accomplish 1/10th of what he did, so I guess im just glad to see him get a bit of his honor back, in the public eye at least (im assuming the SF community already knew the truth). Joe seems like a solid guy, sucks he had to go thru all that 💩
Guy is super interesting. Hilarious & tells great stories. Enjoyed, thank you. 😊❤
Please keep him on! Comstock rocks!
I'm happy we still have guys like Comstock in our inventory
Dale is the most badass dude alive. I would have been honored to fight alongside and give my life for him.
He’s 95% fake
You'd be honored to give your life? Wtf
IS2 Sandy USNR here... I tell people I was a geek... .. Stolen valor pisses me off too! My father was Army, 3rd Spec Ops...my Great Uncle, a marine... I love tripping those people up....I learned enough to do mental Jujitsu... 😂 My father wanted me in the rear with the gear... I made an awesome Special Ed teacher & volunteer firefighter ❤. Thank you for an awesome show! 😊
Man… teary eyed hearing this story about Mike and the birthday celebration… RIP to the 3 and may Dale find some peace in this life for he has done so much for this world he deserves to enjoy it fully ❤️ 1:02:23
I am reminded of the quote (from boondock saints but it’s still good and relevant) “We must all fear evil men. But there is a greater fear than that, and that is the indifference of good men”. Dale is doing God’s work. 1:12:32
You will be the reason if I ever start a podcast!!!!
