base makes more sense than the all touch n gimmicky features its just like a scotter for certain class of people and its micro body still can squeeze any part of the city

Comet is here to give a strong competition to other EVs
Nano Automatic I paid 3.57L. With that you add air bags , abs and reverse sensor for 1 L. 4.57 L. Adjust for 2023 inflation, 5.57L on road. Then remove service cost associated with combustion engine and add 80eea ev loan refund it will be 6.67L. This makes the car 1.5L more expensive than the nano. But for this you get electric 50p per km, more torque, electric orvm, better doors. And remember battery vehicles make every home into a fuel station. Battery vehicles also can act life UPS backup supply by use of inverters. Finally you are no longer part of 77 percent of green house gases causes by automobiles. You also don't have the irritating service issues associated with combustion engines like oil filter, fuel filler, air filter, oil, fuel, belts, injectors, sparks plugs, gear oil, jerking transmission, stalling engine, vibrations, traffic jam fuel wastage.
Still think it's expensive.
1 lakh km in Nano is 7 lakh of petrol.
Indian never buy that types of car whose spare parts are expensive, not available in local market, no local mechanic available to repaire easily.

MG is playing with customers as base model start at 8.53 on road NOIDA Aand top model 10.63 on road .
In 2.10 lac very less features adding which r not worth Rs2.10 lac.
If base is 8.53 than top should max to max 9.5 or less

8.5 lacs.. no space for luguage, very much compact, and design is not much attractive and in indian market may not kick the market
But mg comet has no resale value in the market, no spare parts no mechanic in the market. Everyone saying that it's spare parts, no local mechanic are not easily available. Spare parts are too expensive and local mechanic charges is too much. No resale value in the local market. Many short comings inthis car in the local market

12" tyres were for old Maruti 800 also with no problem of path holes as such. So this should not be a problem for comet ev pace version with shorter wheel base than erstwhile Maruti 800!
@@sadhanadeshpande3074 Maruti 800 was not a premium car. If someone is buying a 10 lakh car, they'd want at least a tension free ride.
@@ritesh31kumar sir base model costs 8.40L on road. Maruti 800 was costing 2L 20 yrs ago. Considering inflation in these 20 yrs, the then 2L is the same as 8L today
@@sadhanadeshpande3074 At that time there were no other options in that price range, same is not true right now. I wanted to buy a small car for running errands and MG comet seemed very good choice at first, but those tyres are a deal breaker. Ignis/tiago makes much more sense.
Ignis is a good option but with petrol. Tiago tyres are big but overall it's too heavy which requires more power on the almost same EV

For city driving 200 km range is OK for a week of 5 days for home to office and back considering one way driving of 20 kms i e daily 40 kms to and fro

Yes I agree. Comet is only useful for to and pro for office to home in traffic conjusted cities like Pune Mumbai bangalore etc. With Tiago, you can go outstation also with 4 paxs and good luggage also
