i have to say this probably one of my more favorite channels out of the "group" now. I never did watch much of the B&J stuff, but I am excited for Colts channel. He is doing what the rest should be doing, explain what your doing and why and show a result to help and educate your audience and have fun doing it. Colt keep doing what your doing, the others should follow your lead, body people should do body work stuff, people that fab do that, wanna play in sand, need a tow or recovery, do that. I look forward to your build's, your relaying of knowledge and skill, and your demeanor and presentation is entertaining, as well very knowledgeable and appreciated. Great Job Sir.

Cool deal. Owning a welding business we haul a lot of scrap off. They love our drops. Only issue is we seem to get flat tires after driving through and unloading. The old days of stock car racing, those 9" Fords were gold but you always tack welded a spot on the axles to keep them from sliding out.

Came here to see the totally freaked out international nuts. Ok, its me. Im the nut. Sir, what you found there was a traveler. Its still a scout II but they extended it 11 inches and added a third row of seats. It is still a two door configuration. All of them i have ever seen have been a fiberglass top (removable) with a rear hatch style door. As opposed to the steel top and tailgate / topper style rear doors.
Now the travelall was on a half or 3/4 ton pickup platform with a full non removable hard top. 3 or 4 doors( just like the suburbans) and had either utility doors or a tailgate with a roll up window in the back. Both of them had 2 or 4 wheel drive options and v8 options. But the travelall was considerably bigger in size.
And i know this matters to exactly no one but myself. I just wanted to throw this out there so others can identify a little bit of american history.

Missed a few things on 9”s. No carrier splits at all, all trucks 73 and newer are 31 spline. Some Vans have an offset center section with different length axles cause the motor is moved over for pedal clearance on drivers side. Also take a flathead screwdriver and spend two minutes popping the tabs to take the tanks off the radiator, super simple and saves more aluminum.

In 07 i just got out of Federal prison and i went around my Reservation and picked up junk any and everything i could find for free and some i bout for cheep. I would buy trucks and cars after i started hauling metal and making some money. I was making pretty good money. Then some people seen me doing it after a year and they started and then it was hard to find. It cleaned up a lot of people's yards thow around here. Junking is easy and fun and when you learn how to separate it all you make more. I even did trail house frames and would cutt them up from come corner to the opposite side corner had to be 3 feet or less and thst would ne prepared steel and you get way mor for it.

It's a lot more fun when you are doing things you enjoy doing. One summer I worked all summer at a salvage yard removing tires from the rims for a 1964 Ford Thunderbird. I was planing on fixing and driving the car during my senior year of high school. Was told it had a blown head gasket. I worked on over 5,000 tires that summer. Turned out the motor had a cracked block and I didn't have enough money even back in 1975/76 to replace the motor. Wound up selling the car back to the salvage yard for I think was $275.00. Talk about being young a stupid. That was me.
