Besides that, mentioning the two identical Raaga to Ahiri Todi are Raag Parmeshwari developed by Pandit Ravishankar saahab and the other is Raag Salagvarali, is a very welcome statement. One of the greatest Music composer of our film industry is Shree Madan Mohan Kohli Saahab...there has been NO ONE like him so far because Madan Mohan Kohli saahab introduced some of the most difficult Raaga to accomodate the lyrical messages in their true form. No matter how difficult the composition, he worked with his team and presented songs via singers like lata Mangeshkar-ji and Mohammad Rafi saahab and Manna Dey saahab. Madan Mohan is called Gazal Samraat for a special reason and we all know he called Lata-ji as his spiritual Didi. One such great composition in Raag Ahiri Todi by this duo is ...Ruke ruke se kadam, ruk ke baar baar chalay.... I really enjoyed your session completely and enthralled to know that you are from Surat which was the megacity I visited growing up in Chikhli which is 75 km south of Surat on National Highway 8. Recently, I imported a custom made Banjo from Bharat Saj of Surat, to expand my Sangeet Sadhana on Banjo. I would like to see you do more of these type of sessions on various other Raagas.
