- For Fieldsports Ireland episode 3, Jason Doyle is after snipe in Ireland and wild boar in France. As part of our Wild Wing series with Jason, he on the West Coast is walking up Ireland’s smallest, speedy game bird, the snipe.
Plus, how easy is it to go wild boar hunting? Jason finds a convenient, good-quality boar hunt in the South of France.

Great clip lads.
As Dan said it’s about the dogs not the big numbers shot.
I love a day when the dogs do everything right and I get a couple of shots off.
That fallow buck was a stunner 😍Keep up the good work Jason 👍🏼
I miss living at home when hunting season rolls around, keep them videos coming.
Nice one, South of France is beautiful for the visit and the hunt...

Another great show! Really loved watching the dogs work the field.
keep up the good work fella
well done. keep it up
Lol different worlds. Here in the states if someone asks you to go on a snipe hunt the answer is a firm NO. they will leave you out in a field with a gunny sack or have you running in circles with a flashlight.
I love snipe shooting anyone who shoots will tell you that snipe are the biggest test for rough shooters
Nice!
Very hard shots to make. No wonder they're called snipe :)
I shoot also those fast flying birds in the ricefields using co2 single shotguns
Nice man :)
Dan as good as ever at the snipe
Hello Jason just wondering what ear protection you are using and where to get. Great show keep up the good work.
Could do with a couple of skins for my trout flies.
Get some heat optics haha Would be perfect for hogs Texas style
Incredible episode, so welll produced
👍 from Denmark
Great work guys, but not so easy getting the birds on ShotKam is it? All those shots on the snipe and not one ShotKam video of a miss LOL! That's alright nobody else will notice :)
super work👌
Good show could you give some tips on deer hanging if you have no cold room 👍
Aidan Flanagan we are planning a whole series on deer prep starting soon and I’ll definitely include something on that.
''prefer the foreign birds'' !! true that :)
Was really looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint. Could you maybe go into more detail about a hunt like this? I’d love to do it but having never done one it’s a bit daunting and I’ve so many questions. Such as prices and hidden costs that a beginner wouldn’t know about, can you rent a rifle and what happens the animal after if you can’t take the meat home, which I presume you couldn’t as you were flying.
kranob1 if you jump onto the website Keiler.fr there’s lots of details there and Sorren, the owner will answer any other questions you have. Rifle hire is very reasonable and there are ways to bring some meat home depending on where to and how you’re traveling.
Great show Jason. But man you need to stay out of the blackthorns youve a nose on you like a working terrier.
Fish Hunt Eat Sleep Repeat now there’s an idea for a film 😂
😉👍🏻
Grate show yet again Jason you jammy bugger but I need to know who you've been sparing with lol
roe stalker ha ha I was following up a sika stag in spruce trees and trying to keep up with my Bavarian 😂
Great video, what shot size and load would you use for snipe?
I use 6s myself
What's the shotgun his use pl?
Dance Music Electronic it’s a Benelli 828 u. www.benelliusa.com/828u-shotgun
Must be very easy to shoot your own dog on these kinds of hunts. Prob an important point of muzzel control. Keep your muzzel up beyond the horizon line I suppose.
