i hooked up a 2 group machine today that hadnt been in use for a few months. once the water was turned on and the machine powered up water would constantly pour from the group head. I removed the top of the machine and noticed the flow control meter on the offending group head was flashing to indicate it was in use, it works the same as if I push a button on the second head the light flashes to indicate use. I was wondering what could cause this to fail and is there a way to fix it or do I just need to replace the part
Hi Abdul, Ensure you change your filter regularly, and even use filtered water if you can. It is worth regularly descaling your machine to ensure no scale build up breaks off and causes a blockage.
@@WolffCoffeeRoasters I have a faulty Elektra T1...there's no flow but the LED on the flow meter is permanently on. What does this mean? Faulty control module?
I have a question. On the 2nd group touchpad is not working. I can hear the click but doesn't let the water out, except when I press pause button. Is this got something to do with the flow meter?
Hi Ivan, espresso machine technician here! A lack of flow from the group could be a number of things, including the flowmeter, the flow restrictor/jet, and the group valve. If you’re still having issues, let me know what type of machine you have and I could advise or recommend you to have a technician look at it in person if you aren’t mechanically-inclined
Hi there, espresso machine technician here! I see your comment is two years old but I’m happy to give some advice if you can tell me what type of machine you have

Is the Gicar amber indicator light always on or only when you have no flow & or other problems?
the light should be on when you have flow if there’s no light there’s no flow
