How to Manually Eject a DISC Stuck in your PS4 Slim / PlayStation 4 STUCK DISC FAULT

- This video show you how to manually eject a disc that has become stuck in your PS4 Slim console. If you have a long thin Philips (crosshead) or small flathead screwdriver then this is very easy to do. You need to shut down the console and unplug everything from the back. Turn the PS4 Slim upside down and you will see a circle above the PS logo. Insert your screwdriver into here and turn counter clockwise (anti-clockwise) until the disc is released from the front. You do not have to wind it back in again once the disc is released.
This will not affect your warranty.

Btw guys, if you don’t have a screw driver small enough to fit in the hole, you could also use a tooth pick to remove it, it does work if anyone is asking.

Just upload the files on the PS server cloud and if your ps4 dies you can re-install everything to the new console

2022 update!!!! You no longer need that tool!!!! Only thing you need is to break off one sharp piece of a fork, then put it in the hole and give it a little shove!! Start turning

I got a DVD stuck on mine and I did this method at first it didn't work so I gave up and pluged everything I started my PS4 and tryed again the normal way by clicking the button and it worked hope that's helpful for anybody

I have similiar problem. Got a dvd stuck in my ps4 and can’t get it out. And it’s a dvd borrowed from library. I’m screwed if I can’t get it out. Tried this method but it didn’t help 😟

Works! Just FYI, there are two holes on the bottom of the console, make sure you put the screw in the right one otherwise it won't work

Hi this is a update now its working because i contacted sony support and they sent out a box and i sent it to sony and they couldent fix it so they sent me a new one in mint condition.

WOW! Thank you! Even easier then the standard ps4! I watched a video on this matter but wasnt with a slim, and then I found your video. To my surprise all I need to do it turn the thing over! Easy peasy! However, the other video had another step and that is to put the ps4 in safe mode and select to rebuild the system which could take anywhere from minutes to 4 hours! Might have to do that since my son cant seem to play one of his games. It's a digital game and keeps telling him it needs to be downloaded or game not found when it's right there in his library! I call playstation and we tried a couple things but no luck. This happened before just cant remember what we did to fix it. Perhaps the rebuilt will work since there must be a corrupted file or two. Anywho, thank you very much for the video. I'll go try this now.
UPDATE: This totally worked! Literally took only 2 minutes! So awesome!

@@kenjiwilliams6276 it never worked I tried everything. I ended up buying a new one. I reason this happens is because a part in the playstation get disconnected (mainly from heat over time), so it can't be fixed.
I got the disc out but now I can’t put discs in. I tried turning it back but that also didn’t work.
