Hello!
I am a bit trying to figure out how to really wash well my car. I was wondering why tar removers can’t be used as bug and grime and iron removers. I mean, why not apply to the surface, let it soak a bit, and then rinse with the high pressure water? Just as with the above mentioned removers?
Is a tar remover to be used AFTER the car has been handwashed?

bombakdik hi, no you use a tar remover before hand washing, and use a pressure washer to remove it so it doesn’t interfere with the shampoo :) tar remover is only really designed to remove tar, although in theory is tough enough to remove grime and bugs as well, but as I say, it is a harsh chemical that would likely damage your paint over a long period. Citrus pre wash (I posted a video last week on some) is normally PH neutral so you can cover the entire car in it and not have to worry about damaging paint, plastics etc.

Dasi's Garage i was thinking on getting the citrus pre wash, together with some bug and grime remover. Those 2 I would be using before the hand wash. What do you think?

bombakdik sounds like a good idea to me, I always use a citrus pre wash before shampoo or snow foam. You may not need to use a bug remover as the citrus pre wash will remove a lot of contaminants if it’s left to dwell on the car for 2-3 minutes 👍🏻

First thing: should I get a Iron remover or is that also to agressive as comparable to tar?
Last question: do you first wet the car with the citrus prewash or not? I think I already watched it today but don’t know.
Will either way definitely get the iron remover for the rims but my question still stands.

bombakdik you’re welcome! First use a citrus pre wash on a dry car (czcams.com/video/JG5iztSY8FU/video.html) then power wash off, then you can use tar remover to remove and stubborn tar deposits but only in the areas that are really bad, then cover all the paint in iron fallout remover (again, leave for 2-3mins) before power washing off, then use shampoo 👍🏻 I have left links to all the products in the link in brackets above if it helps you at all😃
