4K - Chasing Reading and Northern 2102 (Iron Horse Rambles - September 2, 2023)

On September 2, Reading and Northern's 4-8-4 # 2102 made a trip from Reading PA, Jim Thorpe PA. I was able to chase it from Reading to Jim Thorpe. Along the way, we see the mighty T1 passing through Port Clinton, New Ringgold, South Tamaqua, and Nesquehoning on It's way to Jim Thorp

Vert cool. Definitely would like to see those old loco in action day. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of options in Canada.

Yeah, there aren't many operating steamers in Canada sadly. And most of them are small (the exception being CP 2816) This was the first big steam locomotive i've ever seen in operation and it's an amazing sight. I gotta get my channel back on track, i had so much momentum and then i sorta got busy, and now i gotta try to revive it and get the ball rolling again.
