I own the kayak. If you are interested in getting into the hobby, check Offer Up or Craigslist for used kayaks. There's always someone wanting to get rid of their kayak. I have a pick up truck so it's easy to load and unload but 3 of my friends have kayaks with 4 dr sedans and they load their kayaks on top of their cars. They installed racks to mount the kayak.
@@playdirty714 I am interested! How much do they run for? I'm glad to hear because on youtube I've only seen boats and trailer tows, and these kayaks seem like the cheaper option. Actually, this may be a future goal, bc I'm still trying to learn how to just get mackarel off the piers. I'm also a fellow local viet socal, I'm learning a lot from your videos. You are teaching me a lot! Thank you!
Interesting. I never knew that law. Thanks for the heads up. Can you provide the link to where the law states this? I will make another video soon to inform others.
@@playdirty714”Spiny lobsters shall be kept in a whole, measurable condition, until being prepared for immediate consumption. @seans7451 - I just spoke with fish and game and asked them about vac sealing a lobster tail. You are correct. This is NOT legal. The warden said it's pefectly fine to vac seal the entire lobster with the carapace attached but not ok to detach the tail and vac seal as the lobster cannot be accurately measured by tail only. Thanks for pointing this out.
Finally found the regulation in the code of regulations book. It's listed under 14 CCR section 29.90 (D) - Spiny lobsters shall be kept in a whole, measurable condition, until being prepared for immediate consumption.

Do you rent your own kayak or own one? Is it hard to unload into and out of the water?

probably shouldn’t show yourself vac sealing a tail, that’s against the law in CA, lobsters have to be stored whole up until immediate consumption
