  • A quick rundown of some of my favorite pedals. Revisiting the Moog Ring modulator for the first time in a while, as well as dialing in some weird loops with the ditto X2 stereo looper from TC Electronic.

    Volume pedal is the most underrated pedal i think. Allow so many ambiance stuffs combine with other madness pedal ^^
    thanks for sharing us your knowledge, inspiring me so much, as for making music as for making Instrument. Full of grateful ^^

    Hey Janek, there are adapter-cables you can put between the usual 9v cable and the Moogerfooger, that switch the polarity of the cable! Then you can run your pedal with the brick ;)

      Yes 1 spot pack comes with one
      I run moogerfooger off 1 spot although it takes most of the miliamps

    The Fairfield Circuitry Randy’s Revenge is the best ring mod on the planet in my opinion. Small and 9v as well

      Definitely agree. Expression input too!

      @@Wally55223 Been looking at Fairfield for a long time. Definitely need to try some of their stuff. Don't have anything right now.

      @@Wally55223 Secret use: it functions as a WONDERFUL preamp/clean boost as well. Sometimes I just leave it on all the time with the mix rolled all the way off and just reach down when I want a ring mod effect.

      Austin Kowalczyk the low pass filter on it is definitely powerful enough to get some interesting tones as well

      Warren Lissner damn! Okay, now I have to hook up with these guys and check out some of their stuff. Just for those features alone!

    I know the dunlop power supplies rule but the stymon power supplies will run the moogs with ease with a simple adapter to deal with the change in polarity. great vlog as always tho man! still one of the best gigs ive been to when i saw you play solo in bristol!

    I have a pedal power board that supplies 9V and 18V.
    Surely it wouldn't be that expensive to get a custom pedal power board made/modified with all the different voltages you need?

      @janekgwizdala  Před 4 lety +2

      Me too, it's actually more an issue of the polarity. They are just totally opposite to what 95% of the rest of my pedals run on. It's another thing to add to the to-do list for sure.
