All I can say is WOW! Tyler you've provided a priceless tutorial on how to build your own website. I did not figure out how to fix the footer problem but the website is otherwise TOTALLY AWESOME!!! Thank you a thousand times over. And for those just starting out you should expect to spend many, many hours (40+ in my case) on your website before it looks perfect! But it was all worth it.

Hello! I have used tesseract since 2015 and now I want to follow this tutorial. But I have many blog-posts (containing images) I don´t want to delete in a full reset. How can I save my posts in the way they are to the new theme without having to start in OceanWP with all the things from the old theme (bakgrounds, buttons, etc)?

Hi Tyler, I have been working on the older version and was half way through. I am glad I stumbled upon the updated version of your tutorial. My question for you is, now since I was 1 hour and 20 mins through to your last video tutorial, is it a good idea to start with this one from EDIT WITH ELEMENTOR Section.

That you so much. I have been able to create a sample website using this tutorial. Although I found it a bit fast at few of the places. My next step would be to master the development intricacies. Anyway this (customisation) was more important.

hi tyler,thank you..its going great so far..i am at 57 min or so timestamp ..trying to load an image on the homepage..however,only half the page is being occupied by it..by the image i mean...reason is that the explore edit section, the tag line under it and the two buttons are independent sections..so when i select the top of the box , its just selects the explore edit section..and loads the image just there..not the entire page..what can be done here.plz help if u can..thank you...

One thing I was wondering about. Is there a way to keep the header stationary so that it stays at the top of the screen, instead of moving off as the user scrolls down?

Hi Tyler, thank you for the tutorial it was so helpful! I love it. However, I'm having trouble adding Custom Menu (2:06:38) on the footer. The Content section keeps loading (I've waited for more than 10 minutes) while I have no problem with the Advanced section. Is there anything you know that might solve that problem? Thank you

When I go to the home page>customize>menus>main, the dropdown underneath "WATCH THE VIDEO" only has two options: URL, Navigation Label. On your screen, there are tons more options underneath that. On mine, I only have the two.
I realize that this part of the tutorial is not 100% necessary, however I have come so far and would love to finish

Hey Tyler, thank you so much for the updated video it is really helpfull. I have one question, I tried to upload my own background image of a bridge on my home page with a text on it just as you have the explore text. I followed all the steps and adding a text worked, but when I add the image of the bridge with elementor, I can see the image the way I want it to be after saving it. However as soon as I change the layout to full width so that it covers everything, but then when I save that option and check my page again, part of the upper image is cut off. I already tried to lower the pixels but this didnt help. Do you know how to solve this problem so I will see the full picture on my home page? Thank you in advance

Hey, Tyler, your tutorial is awesome. I was almost ready to buy avada for building wordpress sites, but I stumbled upon this and I guess I will go the Elementor way. I have one question, though: when you hide an element for mobile and viceversa, does it still load both elements but only shows one, or does actually only load the respective one? I would love to use this technique of yours, but I'm worried about page size, and if it loads both elements, that would make the site bigger for all devices. Thanks for the awesome tutorial!! I´m having a terrible problem at the moment of "pages, home, "activate to full page " the Elementor.
I only have Elementor in an area of my site to use. Is there any problem using another WordPress in other language then English?
Pls, I will be very glad for the help. After see what Elementor is able to , It is really no more options for me to builder a website in other way.

I found your video very useful. I just launched an new website for our club. I would like to add a calendar with all events including maps and more details than our current schedule can manage. In reading up on calendar plugins I noticed that someone had a theme conflict between Tesseract and Events Calendar Pro. Do you have a recommendation on calendar plugins that work well with Tesseract?

If i want to add several video buttons (but not in the header the way you did) can i still make them pop up within my website rather than open in a new page. I can do it as a thumbnail but would much prefer to have them as buttons as it would be more in keeping with the look of the rest of the site. I don't mind if i have to paste in a bit of code.

I have a question though. A few years ago I made my own website using your tutorial with the theme you used, called 'tesseract'. It's not using the 'Elementor' plugin yet. Can I change the theme from Tesseract to OceanWP and install Elementor? Or will it 'mess up' my website and do I have start from 'scratch'? Or is there an alternative? Thanks in advance!
