you should have recorded the part where you opened the actual cassette player. Not all cassette players open the same and it is always the biggest issue when it comes to replacing belts.
Cuál es el tamaño de las bandas (belt) en longitud y calibre ya que el manual para Panasonic RQ-CR07V habla de las dos referencias de belt RVD0049 y RDV0060 pero no específica calibre y longitudes
I'm afraid I don't know the exact lengths. There are sellers who have the correct belts although I must confess that I usually use cheap ones. You can't always get away with that.
Thanks for the video, I replaced the 2 belts but the auto reverse button wont slide to FWD and the tape mech will basically stop as it tries to move the switch to FWD but only moves 1/2 way, so it will only play in REV direction, what should I look at ? Thanks
Hmm. I'm not sure. The autoreverse mechanism is pretty simply on these so I think I'd see if I could trace out what's wrong. It's possible that something slipped out of position when you changed the belts.
hello...I have a question and maybe u can help me. I have a panasonic recording mini cassette recorder PQ-L 349 that plays but the sound is very low and recording have the same issue. I played around with the volume setting but nothing works...any ideas in how to fix it? THanks
thank you so much for replying and answering my question...sadly i got tired of trying to fix the issue so the tape recorder went to the trash...however, now i know another thing to check out if i encounter same issue in the future...blessings to you and yours.@@jonnorthall8526
Be careful on the quantity of belts ya buy. Newer day ones ☝️ tend to turn into mush. This is a real problem. I do not think 🤔 older day belts did this, or if so, it took a long time (5 years or more). Your friend, Jeff.

You're absolutely right
On the moment i write this comment I'm still puzzled how to open it, this model has no outer screws.
Great job
I have this type of Walkman, how do I fix it if the volume is increased it makes noise

That could be several things so I can't really help.
@@sfred thank you anyway...i guess is going to the trash...lol blessings to you and yours.
Hi if you still have this check the play head first and foremost, most older tapes shed residue off onto the play head, this could be causing an issue
