In the end credits scene where Deadpool shoots Ryan Reynolds in the head, Ryan was reading the script for Green Lantern, which was the other super hero movie he starred in and most people (including Ryan Reynolds himself) think of as a bad movie. So basically he was stopping that movie from getting made. And the scene before that with Wolverine was from the movie Wolverine: Origins, where Ryan Reynolds originally played Deadpool. The way the character of Deadpool was written in that movie was so bad that Ryan Reynolds had to fight for a second chance to get the solo Deadpool movies made so we got an accurate version of Deadpool. That's why the Deadpool from this movie went back to Wolverine: Origins to shoot that version of Deadpool in the head. It's a bit confusing for people who don't know the behind the scenes stuff but for those that do, it's pretty hilarious. Also, in that scene, it was Ryan Reynolds' way of trying to convince Hugh Jackman to play Wolverine in a future Deadpool movie, even though Logan was supposed to be Hugh Jackmans' last film as the character.

Although, ironically, because he appeared in Deadpool 2 as Wolverine, it wasn't.

Yeah considering that now, I still think it is really great the way Logan left us so I would have very mixed feelings honestly if he did turn up in another Deadpool movie if they ever decided to do another one.

Somebody commented that they watched this movie in a theater in Canada, and when Death Pool kills Ryan Reynolds with the script in his hands, the whole theater cheered and applauded.

@@OriginalPuro technically not. Facts are facts, true, but you can have matchbox cars or hotwheel cars, which are not motorized. I built a wooden car when i was 14 (miniaturized) that has no motor

Fun fact the guy that played the vanisher was Brad Pitt and he only charged Ryan Reynolds a cup of coffee to be in the film

Nice reaction. I surprised that no one mentioned that in the comics Cable is the son of Jean Gray and Scott Summers aka Cyclops. Cable has his Mom's powers. He was infected with a techno organic virus which is why he has a metal arm. It also dampens his mutant powers. Even with it he's still a powerhouse. As much fun of other the movies, there's lot's to make fun of here too. For one Cable could take out just about everyone in this movie by himself. Except Juggernaut. Juggs can get up to hulk like power levels. Plus he's not a mutant. He gets his power from a gem. That was left behind by a Marvel elder god like being. Cyttorak. He's evil so the gem is like a trick. When you have it you become his herald. That's the Juggernaut. His real name is Marko Cain and is Prof. Xavier's step brother. (They don't get along). Juggernaut is fated to go power crazy and kill everyone. Juggs main ability is that he become immune to whatever power he gets hit with. So part of that is you have to hit him harder and harder each time to hurt him. Also his first power is once he starts moving he can't be stopped. He can be tripped, stumble and fall on his face. He also is week against mind powers that's why he wears the helmet. Now for some goodies. You should definitely watch the X-Men Cartoon from the 90's. It does a good job of getting the X-Men right. And cue the music Marvel is going to do X-Men 97 on Disney+. It will pick up where that cartoon ended. I think you will enjoy it. The original is currently on Disney+

one thing you will find in almost all of his movies/comedy's/jokes (because Ryan Reynolds is Canadian) is references to Canadian sports, it's stereo types, Inventions and how people think we live up here, though subtle at times most of us Canadians pick up on them

So, Michelle, when Wade goes back in time, he kills Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where Ryan Reynolds ALSO played Deadpool, because everyone hated Deadpool in that movie. Then, he killed Ryan Reynolds to stop him from being in The Green Lantern, which was a terrible movie. He says, "You're welcome, Canada" because Ryan Reynolds is Canadian.

I'm going to make a lot of people mad, I liked green lantern. Could it have better, yes. Did it waste a lot of potential, yes. But there were things in it I liked, and that's enough for me.
