37:06 the character that appears in the post-credits scene is Cletus Kasady (better known as "Carnage), one of Marvel's most violent villains. When cletus was a child he killed his dog and his grandmother, and years later (when he became in Carnage) made a massacre in New York, so spider-man and venom had to team up to stop him

@@jayquanis toxin was a whole other thing of his own, he's one of the strongest members of his species to ever exist, venom and carnage teamed up on him because of the threat he posed
This is the second time Tom Hardy has played a hero's villain, the first was in 2012 when he played Bane in "The dark knight rises."
Except Eddie Brock/Venom are not villains, they just hate Spider-man. Eddie/Venom are pragmatic.

The symbiote has two main weaknesses sound at high decibels & fire.
Sound at high frequencies, not necessarily decibels.
Sound at high frequencies doesn't hurt Carnage at all that much, Venom is weaker to it.
Carnage however has a bigger weakness to fire.

Carnage shouldn't have died because now we'll never see Venom and Carnage fight the off spring of Carnage, which is Toxin.

@@willfanofmanyii3751 And Justice League was never intended to be an R Rated. Yet Zack Snyder filmed it that way anyways and look how much better it is than the PG-13 Josstice League. It's obvious Venom is being held back from the studio with the gruesome ideas they're showing in the movie.

venom the symbiote is part of a species called the Kylintar which get stronger with each generation. the 1 that goes into Drake is called Riot and he's a generation after Venom. the Symbiote species feeds on enzymes that are mostly found in the human brain, but can be found in other places like of all things chocolate. and symbiotes can re-grow from the smallest part.
That's the comics, riot seems to be in the same generation as venom this time around and is even an underling for him, riot is definitely not his kid as he is in the comics
Eddie (Tom Hardy) was also Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, and Annie (Michelle Williams) was the girlfriend of Heath Ledger, aka The Joker.

Interesting note is that voice of Venom is Tom Hardy's amplified and special effected
She wasn’t hiding info from the public they deserved to know. She was working on a law case against him. The info she got in the file was confidential to the case and when a reporter she was in a relationship with got a hold of it, she was fired for breaking that confidentiality
I remember way back when there was no Venom and just a black suit for Spider-Man-that he picked up on the Secret Wars planet.

1. That's Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady a.k.a. Carnage (a red symbiote that's much dangerous than Venom, but that's because Carnage's host is a deranged sociopathic serial killer). 2. A 2nd movie, Venom: Let there be Carnage, will come out now in October and I would like to see you react to the trailer for it, just like Magy did 😉🙂
Can you imagine how much better this would have been if they allowed the film to be R rated.

The guy at the end was Cledus Cassidy. He is a serial killer who the symbiote Carnage takes control over. Carnage is the most devastating symbiote in Marvel. Venom can't beat Carnage and ends up infusing with Spider Man to beat him. They have comics and even a super nintendo game called Maximum Carnage that tells the story. I been waiting for the Maximum Carnage movie since Spider Man 3.
A lot of comic book readers know who eddie brock was talking to at the end credits, also venom is one of my favorite villains to spider man. That venom from spider man 3 sucked, this venom is likely from the comics, the deep voice, and his size.

I just saw the sequel, Venom: Let There be Carnage. It was really funny and Woody Harrelson was great.

No. She was working at a law firm that was handling a case against Carlton drake. It was a confidential file in the case that Eddie looked at and she was fired for being a leak and liability. She was the one in charge of that file so when it was brought up that shortly after she got it a reporter she was in a relationship with had info he shouldn’t have, she was fire
She wasn't working for Carlton Drake. She's a lawyer and her firm was hired by Drake's company. The legal system only works if everyone plays their part, including the defense. That's just how law works, not a moral failing of Anne.
You know, venom was always one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, and I actually liked how they did with him in Spider- man 3, but the possession and that reminds me so much of Jason goes to hell. It seems like the same movie.

Venom 2 just came out a few weeks ago. It was super weird and unbelievably fun.
The Venom sequel is in theatres I don’t when it’s coming to Netflix tho
It wasn't a bad movie really I suppose. But the thing that makes Marvel movies like this iffy, is when you take a popular or well known character like this, & completely change the back story. Everyone who knows the comic backstory, knows the symbiote first bonded with Peter Parker, & that he first discovered it during the Secret Wars story, when his costume had been damaged. Much later after being examined by Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four, he finds out what it really is & rejects it. With Richards' & The Torch's help, he manages to unbond from it. After that, It becomes an enemy of Peter. It later bonded with Eddie Brock who'd been fired from The Daily Bugle, after he'd been disgraced & discredited because of Spider-Man. So in a sense, Venom is the Joker to Spider-Man's Batman.
Joker will hurt anyone to get to Batman, while Venom wouldn't. Besides, Venom has been an anti-hero/hero for much longer than he was a villain.
from what i have seen from this live action verse Venom
he seem to be very weak compare to other Symbiote but also have alot of battle experience and intelligent compare to them
he have limited transformation ability, lower speed and power too but he is good at dodging and countering
That's how he is in comics aswell, he's one of the weakest named symbiotes from the comics, this is because most other symbiote characters are a generation or 2 ahead of venom and since each generation gets stronger venom has always been one of the weakest
The sequel has already come out last week. It'll be awhile before it's online or released on dbd
They are definitely ready, both for "Venom: Let there be Carnage" and for "Spider-Man: No way home"

I think what really gets me in this movie is that the hero is a loser; at best an ordinary guy.
And then the Earth is saved because a space alien saw merit in this loser that nobody else saw.

YES. Also, some tropes like the new boyfriend not being a jerk, Anne still caring a lot about Eddie even tho she clearly does not feel romantic toward him anymore, the unusual kiss, and various other trope things that were twisted to be more positive than the tone of the movie suggests. This movie was more wholesome than I ever expected.
Also venom himself on klyntar is a loser, and it kind of makes sense, venom is one of the weakest klyntar out there that are named, this is because most are a generation or two ahead of venom, each generation gets stronger

@@cookiesnugglez7318 Here's the issue with that, Venom becomes Anti-Venom and hes stronger than Carnage, theres even hybrids based off the Anti-Venom symbiote, Zzzxxxx, even a Symbiote that fused with a t-rex to bring it back to life.
If you take all the symbiote from Comics, Venom/Anti-Venom is one of the strongest.
The Venom in this movie is severely nerfed because Anti-Venom turned back into Venom eventually and retained everything.

Anne wasn't "hiding" anything from the public. She was doing her job as a lawyer whose company was hired by another company. If she leaked that information, it could result in an unfair trial, which would let Drake off the hook. Even if she's supposed to be defending him, her professional behavior is part of the legal system, which could've taken Drake down. The legal system only works if everyone plays their part, including the defense.
I encourage you to learn a bit about the American legal system before reacting to any other American movies involving lawyers or the law to avoid confusion like this.
