    Very nice. Likes: exterior paint, pass-thru storage, wind sensing awning, pull out storage behind drivers seat, residential fridge, tv position, upgraded theater seating, king bed and shower. Dislikes: interior colors especially the cabinets (1970's look) , no oven, ccc (deal breaker)

    We have a 2021 Bounder 33C and love it after fixing several QC issues. A couple of suggestions. LED headlights, the stock headlights suck. The driver and passenger seats need to have the headrests about 3" thicker at the top so it actually supports your head. The construction on the Southwind and Bounder is the same and really great, these RV's are solid as a rock. The bays are really nice and love no carpet. The side and backup cameras are super clear and nice. Replace the overhead buck mattress with a 6" memory foam and it will be comfortable, but the bunk will not go all the way up but it's not an issue. Matt I was not a fan of the new 2022 dash either until I realized that open space where the screen use to be is PERFECT for a tire monitor screen, fits perfect. Anyone looking to buy a really nice Class A the Fleetwood Bounder of Southwind is a great unit. And best of all, Fleetwood customer service is by far the best hands down.

    My 2018 Bounder 35K has the all chrome mirrors, storage bay door handles, 7KW generator, solid surface counter tops throughout. It has the LX package without the LX badge. Does not have the chrome on the rear. This Southwind is nice.

    We have a 2022 Fleetwood Bounder 35K. Absolutely love it! The interior is grey. We have several issues. The backsplash takes up about 3" of countertop. Not sure why. Poor design! The kitchen window doesn't open! Why not? The driver's power seat not wired correctly! The dinette doesn't fold down, also broken! Thanks for another great video!

    Matt & Mike . Not too much wrong with this coach. We see alot of older Southwinds in the Snowbird season here in Northwest Arizona. They are a great Coach obviously . Love the new Color Schemes . The woodwork which Fleetwood has done is guite understated and inviting . That drawer needs to be rethought . I would not like having to CRAM stuff in it all the time . Overall Fleetwood is doing some Great stuff with the new Generation of Coaches . Keep it Going Mike .

    I was wondering why most of the RV’s I’d seen lately don’t have that setup for the CPAP over the bed. It’s such a good idea. Oo! That’s weird about the drawers under the cabinets in the bedroom! But that’s a terrific price for this unit. #Tempting.

    Overall I like the unit. I’m a freak for counter space and this doesn’t have much. Very disappointing. Another concern is in the bedroom and kind of piggybacks Matt’s comment about the drawers under the closet prepped for washer. I could see myself or my husband hitting our heads on the cabinet when getting something out of the drawers underneath. I love the color combo on the interior. Makes so much more sense than the light and white. Great job guys!!!

    Great presentation! Agree with the dislikes. Inside of having a combo washer & dryer and lose restricted cabinets opening, I suggest that the Southwind returns a stackable Washer & Dryer in that space. Love the power cord wheel. It is had to find on Gas Model RVs. Also, that Fleetwood offers the larger Solar Panel. Best, Steve from Western Mass.

    Hi Matt and Wil and Mike ! Thank you all for this video. My dislikes are the sane as yours Matt. I wouldn’t be able to put anything in the drawers underneath the washer dryer thing or the ward drive. And it does look a little tight in the bathroom! My likes are the loungers being across from the tv. Love the space you get when slides are out and the color of the wood around loungers. Thank you Matt and Wil and Mike.

      @spidergawd68 Před 2 lety

      Agreed! I’m 77” tall, and this is a big deal. One of my three “tall guy dealbreakers”.
      1. I have o be able to walk through the whole coach without ducking under anything.
      2. Bed must be long enough for my feet not to hang off.
      3. Must be able to sit on commode with door closed.
      Surprising how many rigs miss one of these .

  • @jameskennedy673

    I agree with you on the likes & dislikes, for the price, that elephant in the bedroom is a very bad idea, the designer must’ve had a hangover. Being empty nesters, we would have them keep the overhead bunk & save that money for something more useful for the motor home 👍👍

  • @007KrausBean
    @007KrausBean Před 2 lety +1

    Fleetwood needs to STOP saying that you can fill up from both sides with that rear fuel fill. We have a Bounder 35P and you can not fill up from both sides. The pump hoses are never long enough to get across from the passenger side. Another rough part about the rear fill is that you really block up gas stations when you pull forward enough to reach the fill.

    Another great video guys and AMAZING timing on the "Jump" at the beginning. So many things to like about this home, but have to disagree with the wood wood work and cabinetry combo...Love the dimensional trim, but do not like the panel doors and hardware - they just don't look like they go together! Both from a style standpoint as well as the contrasting color palate. Other MAJOR dislikes are the washer/dryer combo option and those useless drawers underneath the wardrobe cabinets and all together too many cabinets.

    Decor is really nice, personally not a fan of the lego wood design but i like the fact that its original and different. Even for wood look it doesn’t 1970’s. I don’t get the glass insert on two door in the kitchen but none above microwave door. Agree with 2nd dislike, the 2 screens are really a life saver. It’s really a nice unit. Oh, the front cap design could be designed to look more classy, it’s missing that refined touch

  • @LibbyRal
    @LibbyRal Před 2 lety +3

    Lovely unit. I don't understand why the designers of Class C rigs haven't figured out how to make more counter space in the kitchen. It's absurd to have a residential fridge capable of storing enough food for families or for a long time, then having almost no space to prep it. How hard would it be to make a drawer a little shallower and have retracting counter space. Or extension on the dinette table

    3 dislikes:
    -it was really tight to use the motorhome with the slides in to get to the bedroom.
    -there should always be windows and a skylight for the bunk bed over the chassis. It gets hot up there ya know?
    -all motorhomes this big should have dishwashers and an actual oven and a washer and dryer. It's almost 2022! That tiny small area for a washer/dryer combo? Wasn't impressed.
    Bonus: not a fan of the half bath not being a prime poop position
    3 likes:
    -the bedroom is very nice
    -the living area and dining room area look super comfortable! I like the TV position in the living area.
    -the refrigerator is plenty of room and space.
    -I like the dinette being direcrly across from the kitchen instead of next to it.
    In conclusion: I would be hesitant to buy this motorhome but not ruling it out 100%. It just has some small deal breakers for me. I could settle but if I'm going to buy a big motorhome like this,, why would you settle, ya know? I also agree with Matt about the captains chair. I need to have those screens facing me. That screen will distract the captain by taking their eyes off the road if their co-captain is laying down or chillen in the back 😎

    I won't comment about the quality of the video, as there are enough already and I agree with them. Concerning the motorhome, there is very little about this model that I like, even with the $237K MSRP. When we are ready to return to the States, my wife and I will be traveling alone as full-time RVers. Drop-down bunks, convertable dinettes, and pull-out couches have no value to us, but having storage and day-to-day living space is very important.
    These are the immediate deal breakers for me:
    - Generator under the bedroom
    - No room for stackable W/D (hate combo units)
    - Low CCC (1,716 pounds)
    I don't like having all of the seating on one side with all of the kitchen on the other. Why not have the dinette and a televator on one side with the theater seating on the other side. The current floorplan has one seat with a good viewing angle for the TV and the other seat with an angled view. I would put the cooktop and sink on the side and the refrigerator on the opposite side. This might allow more space for the W/D or a better half-bath layout.

    I was under the impression the Bounder was the top of the line gas Fleetwood? They really need to separate the models better than just some chrome and finish.
    And at nearly $240k I would expect a stackable washer and dryer included! Not to mention the minuscule 1700lb CCC. I would blow through that by 1000lbs and I’m not a full timer. This should be on a heavier chassis.
