@@hxhdfjifzirstc894well, they cost over a hundred dollars, and take up quite a bit of cabinet space (and even more space on the countertop as they need room to “flip”) so buying “a ton” of the waffle makers wouldn’t make sense economically, or in terms of efficiency, which are the prime reasons for meal prepping in large quantities (other than diet/nutrition) and other than some keto recipes, I’m not seeing this as a huge diet friendly kitchen gadget. It’s doesn’t take that long to cook, if someone want to make 4-6 it would take probably 30ish minutes.

I have 2 of them. I bought 1 for my niece, then another 1, but at a higher price… there was a price increase. She entertains a lot and a very active and close family. It takes at least 6 to 7 minutes each. By the time the last person gets 1bit would be over an hour. The 2 of them, 2 children and their wives, 2+4=6 then add grandchildren another 3.5 (1 baby), 2+4+3=10….. at the time the baby was only a few months old. She loves it.

One random day it was listed for half price, at $35. Moved it to my cart and bought it immediately. Can't say it's one of my favorite items of all time, but at half price I'd buy it again.
