i mean im so sad they split and i hope they get back together, but it has given us solo albums of all the boys where they’re all individually killing it and getting the solos they all deserved
@ Katherine Cabello, I reckon the reason for this is that of the group they were the least confident in their voice or stage presence so I am sure they would not have volunteered, and remember persons were saying Louis should not be in the band as he could not sing, and that he was ugly, so all of that would have eroded his self confidence as a teenager.

I remember feeling so frustrated that Liam was singing most part of the songs. He has good voice but in my opinion the other 4 boys were much more lovable❤
I went back after the Beatles week and heard a 1967 recording session of the Beatles with this song, "All You Need Is Love". 1D does sound good performing this song. I mean of course they aren't the Beatles and of course they don't sound like the Beatles, nobody expects them to. They are a completely different generation than the Beatles and completely different people. But they did do that song justice here. It wasn't supposed to be the same as the original version. If anyone wanted that then they can just go on CZcams and see the original version performed by the Beatles. People always forget that every singer has to start somewhere and develop into their sound and their voices. The Beatles included. And 1D is still developing, but that doesn't mean they aren't good still, even while they are developing as musicians. I think the Beatles would have liked the way the boys performed this song. With a lot of passion and energy, like a celebration. And that's exactly how the song should be performed. Like a celebration. Celebrating Love. After all, isn't that what the song is about.

I am so sick and fed up with Louis Walsh and his comments to the boys! Does he have something against them or something? He doesn't like them? What was his problem? Anyway, despite that, I am really enjoying this video (first time I'm watching this video). I'm actually listening to One Direction for the first time, and they're good! Harry is definitely my favorite - he can really sing, he's a natural performer. Was he like the frontman for this group?

You know, I just realized that Harry Styles does look like the character Harry Potter. He's got unruly brown hair and green eyes, just like Harry Potter has in the books. Kind of interesting. Just thought I would put that out there.
