- MTZ-5LS was made from 1965 to 1969 in Dnepropetrovsk, today's Dnipro in Ukraine.
Despite wearing the name Belarus the production was incorporated under "Southern Machinery works" (Южный машиностроительный завод). In 1970 producing of the JuMZ 6 or better known as the Belarus 600 series tractors, started that where based on the previous model MTZ-5.
In this video im focusing also on the 2024 plans and what I think I can accomplish.

Thanks for the mention Steve! That is quite the stone pile.
That is some 45 -50 years of stone collecting.
good to see that you are still going.
Thanks Richard. For me the busy season just started. I have filmed lot more just need to edit it together.
Best of luck on your 2024 season
Great video. Keep it up
amazing weather :D red started up like nothing
with summer diesel and a partly clogged starting engine valve. It still went like it was nothing. Long injectors are da best.
10:18 🤣
maybe a workshop build? also I have a question about diesel tractor exhausts, usually the muffler engine run better with back pressure or something.. is it the same with tractor? or could I let's say put a straight pipe or a random muffler from a car and the engine wouldn't care?
2 stroke engines are more sensitive to back pressure than 4 strokes. However on 4 strokes the muffler also is to reduce the exhaust noises and trap sparks. If you run a straight pipe you may risk sparks going out of the exhaust stack and igniting something on fire. I think for a Belarus tractor a car muffler is probably the cheapest hack you can do. Don't run it on straight pipe unless you have a spark catcher ontop of stack.
@@SuperMAZ007 alriiiight, thank you man!

Hi Steve sild, my name is Pritpal Singh from India, I have belarus tractor MTZ3, i required Belarus tractor driver cabin can you help me out, please reply.
I hope I understood the question right: you need a cabin for your tractor? Not sure I can help cause the easiest way would be to make one yourself.
From something existing or just from scrap metal. The Belarus tractors that were exported to India had the tropical cabin versions. Not sure if you can buy one anymore. That much I can tell that the cabin for the northern climate is very expensive.
Hi, Steve sild thank you for your lovely reply, In early stage of India when the Belarus tractor MTZ3 emport in India, it's without driver cabin, it's come with in top roof, so now days in India it's latest version is launched in past year, it's not fit in the older version of Belarus Tractor MTZ3. I have the same model of tractor as shown in the video (with round rear mud gaurd), I again request you to please help me, i required driver cabin also please tell me how much cost for driver cabin.
Also can we share our mobile number so that we can talk in what's app.
Please reply.
@@pritpalsingh6270 I don't think I can help here. Most of the current modern cabins that may retrofit are around 5000$ and they don't include air conditioning. They are not exactly bolt on to the older floor so lot of extensive modification has to be made. I have no idea where you can get one in India. I would look at other alternatives if possible that are more affordable.
