This is what videos about Warframe weapons should be. Actually advising multiple builds and alternative options, interactions with punchthrough. Providing the simplest explanation of what hcet does, and examples of what elemental combinations are possible with which number of mods! Ideal things to communicate, especially since we may be nearing an age of Blast mattering and Corrosive returning to prominence.
You should know these things even if they aren't in the video because you know how to play Warframe. Else you don't know how to play, the teacher has to give you all the answers to the test to pass.

@alaner1383 when it first came out creators were saying its meh and nothing special but now people realise how good it is
Since it has innate cold, chain beam, and doesn't need incarnon transformation (torid), this is a great weapon for deployable allies (specters and on call crew).
Full procs will freeze enemies after update. And this weapon at base still has decent status chance.
I didn't even think about putting it out specters. Dante is a great specter and this would be a great support weapon for him. And I'm VERY excited to be able to fully freeze
@SpaghettiTop yeah that sounds like a great idea I was thinking of trying it on wukongs clone 😂
I'd like to add for Sisters of Parvos.
If you have an Oull requiem mod, you can use it to remove the first health chunk and get 2 extra hounds when your sister ambushes you instead of 1.
Sometimes the sister would blow up the hound way too quickly
@@00Grimreaper00 they only blow up the hound if you remove a health chunk. And the hound only explodes if you get too close to it.
@@majesticbbqsauce727 I knew the hounds would blow up if a sister health dropped by 1 bar with a successful parazon strike but I never knew they would be destroyed by getting close to them. I normally melee them right away lol

I think this was the best explanation of liches I've ever heard. Funny and informative.
I've been using mine as a primer for Gyre. It deals pure viral and electric (and potentially magnetic) damage with high status chance to several enemies at once. With Rotorswell active enemies will take bonus damage from viral and also electric if you are using violet archon shards, and your ability crit chance has a chance to ramp up before the lightning strikes proc.
Excellent Video! So informative
Finally a good video on the tenet glax.
Great video!

I like the glaxion. Its like torid but you dont need to charge up incarnon, but works for lower level enemies
id argue the weapon is best as a primary primer, taking care of unusual status priming, crowd-control AND energy concerns with the new augment. Nowadays a properly build companion can be used for viral-priming, meaning you can go ham with this thing with magnetic, radiation, corrosive and cold.
The viral build is inferior to the corrosive/cold build against armor anyway. Unless your name is Saryn, of course.
Thing is, I wasn't planning on using an Impact bonus for Internal Bleeding or such, it was primarily for the constant stagger/CC on the enemies, in addition to the boosted finisher threshold for higher levels. I need to double check if the Cold status would also slow down the stagger animation, though.
Thanks for this.
I've been getting magnetic or radiation for my tenet and kuva weapons for the extra unique status is a great bonus

Would Cold not be pretty good to add weight to the proc status chance for cold helping with primary frostbite?
Ugh got two low rolls, gonna have to do a third glaxion roll after the status rework, and that's hoping magnetic comes out better
yeah im so glad we got another chaining laser, we dont have enough of those
I just rolled a cd fr tox -zoom last night too 🔥
im wondering what the math is on primary frostbite and putting both serration and gun CO on vs deadhead
No idea but I'm running that setup with my sentinel spreading +3 statuses and it fucks
It’s vital sense and a multi shot mod about 90
He mentions it during the VOD you can find on Kengineer Extras
Pretty positive primary frostbite isn't worth it. You can skip gunCO and serration both without it which makes mod slots much more flexible
Would you still recommend these elemental setups with the jade shadows changes?
Got my first tenet glaxion with 60 magnetic 🔥
Primary Frostbite builds extremely quickly, even with a mix of 4 elements

Hey kengineer, for that cold corrosive build, when using frost's augment mod. How do you think the build would change? Assuming the cold changes happen in jade shadows...
From what I can guess
Is nothing
@@noahedenborg4221 I feel like there's depreciating returns on crit damage personally. but there probably is on crit chance too. Idk the maths on which one you would want to slot the augment mod into. Also since frost can 100% armour strip with his 4, do you even need corrosive?
“Now, to kill your sister” 4:19
Out of context is wild
chained targets not taking quite as much damage is unfortunate but you can still apply plenty of status effects on them. so i'll be using cold+corrosive to reduce armor and slow enemies down. i wonder how well the enhanced cold is going to work with the element update. i suppose freezing enemies 100% would render them a non threat which is pretty sweet in most situations. extra crit damage is nice too, i doubt biting frost would apply to enemies frozen via cold procs but if it does then.. that'd be pretty good
Doesn't that apply to the torid where chained enemies take less damage?
@@00Grimreaper00 I believe it applies to all chain beams, yes
Doesnt a tauforged emerald give you +3 Max Corrosive stacks which is 13 and not 14 for 100% armor strip?
Correct. You don't need total armor strip in most circumstances which is why I suggest the tauforged, but for extremely high levels it can be beneficial. For example on the SP level 200 Corrupted Bombards, that extra status proc takes us from around 0.214 seconds to kill them, to 0.076 seconds to kill them. While proportionally a lot faster, we're talking fractions of a second for most content.
does galvanized aptitude increase damage vs. chained enemies?
I think you're sleeping on Primary Frostbite. At rank 5 it provides the same crit multi as Vital Sense but with multishot on top.
Can you please make an updated video on galvanized mods and steel path primary and secondary arcanes please. I seem to be having mixed interactions with their decay timers.
10:12 can you please explain why you keep them ranked up?
I learned, that you want to have less viral than slash/heat.
when you use unranked mods, the weighting of viral goes down, but so does the status chance. this means the chance to proc heat doesn't always increase enough to be worth losing the dmg from unranked mods
Just reminder that impact isn't a bad idea on this one due to Primary Exhilarate and this weapon dropping energy orbs. If you really want to use it as a energy utility weapon, it might not be a bad idea to have it assuming you can kill things still.
Augment from Nightwave would give similar result via energy orbs thus benefits Arcane Energize and gives Crit Damage
blast is going to be so cool and hot after jade shadows
hi I wanted to ask for some advice on my current problem, I been playing Warframe for over a year now and I struggle to acquire some items due to me being unable to trade for platinum and other items, I tried enabling 2fa but I don’t receive verification code to confirm it in my email I tried changing my email to enable it but again it won’t send the verification code to my email to even change my email I’m having to buy platinum any time I get discounts I tried contacting supports over 7 times and everytime they are unhelpful and do nothing to help almost like I’m talking to a bot . you did not mention your Archon Shards
4:20 *whips out notepad*
I’m still waiting for tenet amprex
If i use this weapon on gauss and already have more than enough fire rate, what should i replace shred with?
Punch through is still valuable to him so Shred remains a good pick. Otherwise make it your slot for Photon Overcharge once unlocked from Nora.
@@TheKengineer Alright thanks! Love your stuff!
I haven't got my hands on a glaxion yet but how can you get blast + cold with a toxin inherit glaxion? 2:26
That's a mistake on my part in indexing the elements. It's supposed to be Blast COrrosive, not Blast COld.
I know it's probably too late, but I can't wrap my head around how you managed to get 6x critical multiplier, in basically every shot that you showed the mods in except, for some reason, the ones you recorded while in the sanctum simulacrum. How is that possible?
I'm wondering that too. it has to be some sort of display glitch cuz' Vital sense does not get you to 6x
So let me write this down, and tell me if I got it wrong: Heat, Cold, Rad, and Magnetic are good for being simpler and safer combos to add to your glaxion. You are recommending a setup that allows for a combo of cold and corrosive, since having photon overcharge is simply a great bonus for your mod setup and energy production, alongside allowing you to apply two normal or one tauforged emerald shard(s) for 100% with two normal, or 98% removal with the single tauforged. The damage from this build is partly with status and crit given the arcane and galvanized mods. You can choose to have photon overcharge which can give a lot of energy orb drops, but you should choose between losing point strike to get the highest potential damage ceiling, or choosing to remove galvanized scope to raise the damage floor, but lower the damage ceiling. Would that summary be correct?
I do want to know where in the build you are able to reach towards red crits, as the tenet glaxion doesn't seem to have a high enough base crit chance to support a setup with red crits, even with galvanized scope. Where is the crit chance coming from for this build? Is galv scope really carrying the crit chance that hard, allowing for red crits? I'm looking at the wiki and my understanding is that it's an additive buff, similar to point strike and critical delay. Is it not additive, and the buff for galv scope is added AFTER the crit chance initially? If so, then red crits makes sense.
Given he's simultaneously getting yellow, orange and red crits, it's likely a vigilante mod on his sentinel's weapon.
He mentioned Arcane Avenger and seemingly was using it in the mid mission footage.
If I'm not mistaken, its buff icon is visible around 8:30 mark for instance.
Hypersycos3202 is correct - Vigilante mods on my sentinel's equipped weapon. This gives a chance for critical hits to be boosted to the next tier, turning some oranges into reds.
@@TheKengineer I didn't know that! I started playing just before dante came out, so I'm still relatively new. Just checked the wiki, and I assumed also that arcane avenger would proc and apply to the base weapon, but no its after that! I'll make sure to look towards adding vigilante mods to my carrier and looking towards that arcane for my citrine. Thanks for the reply!
Your advice on Sister spawning is incorrect: There is no need to go slowly on the Capture, the Sister Candidate is always 100% guaranteed to spawn unless you just... leave the mission, for some reason. It doesn't matter if the Cap target was instakilled and picked up 20 minutes ago or if they're still roaming.
And another scenario that sister wont spawn is if you rush the mission and cant find golden hand until it's 150-200m to the extraction point. It is counted as mission already accomplished and no enemy will spawn at that point. I've waste so much time because of this, so his saying is kinda true.
I love headshot build but the enemies in the new tile set almost have no headshot area 😭😭😭😭😭
I still question why they made a glaxion that chains instead of just doing an amprex, since it already had chaining.
Inb4 Tenet Amprex doesn't chain
Because amprex is already pretty good
Glaxion wasn't as good
I don't agree at all to abort mission if you don't find a hand before you reach the capture target, ive only 'failed' to spawn a candidate maybe 4 times in all my times playing as the hand was too close to extraction, thats all.
Something most players don't Realise is the Capture Target only Runs Away if they Appear in the *Frustrem* (Also know as the Camera's Viewing Angle) .
So as long as you don't look at them... They Wont Run Away. Even if you're in the Same Room.
You can use this Trick to *ALWAYS* find the Golden Shrine before Capturing the Target... And this Always guarantees a Candidate Spawn... 100% no Exceptions !!!
@@lookalike4805 Correct, ive known that since they changed how capture missions worked in fact.
This guide is aimed at keeping things consistent and simple. I made that suggestion following the number of players who've come to my streams wondering what they're doing wrong because the candidate didn't spawn for them (precisely they were too close to extraction - the game doesn't tell them this).
You're welcome to try after doing the capture so long as you understand why it sometimes doesn't work.
Has anyone tested how this compares to using an Amprex with Gyre?
Why are we replacing a Crit Chance mod with Photn Overcharge? Correct me if I'm wrong but it says Crit Damage
Because the total output is higher.
dang it, i got rad and didnt think about any of it
So i went through like all the tenet weapons before getting a glaxion
And a candidate always spawned no matter when i got golden hand or captured the target
Yea he never really argued that, just said it was simpler getting it before
@@realeyesrealizerealies what do you mean
