Lmao when the A came out at the end I thought they would put avengers
while it is shown in a forest, you can tell by the gadgets, such as the amount of all around cameras it has, like all singaporian vehicles, it is optimised for urban warfare.
looks space age. the shape and interior got that "Advanced Warfare" look and feel to it
ok this is epic
Got aircon right?
Yes, needed for the computers, will overheat if it doesnt. So the crew gets some cool air too.
Is the interior safe proof?
Hey, this is actually good.
Any export orders ?
Can it drift?
It seem to be able move fast and good on maneuverability compare to conventional tanks or it is just camera trick?
Alot of tanks can actually go up anywhere between 60-80kmph its just not shown. and yes this can move pretty fast, even the previous generation Bionix also could.
Who will this be used against?
Well, is it amphibious or not?
The turret which I think is unmanned is placed in the back of the hull of the IFV , i don't know if it affect the soldiers compartment , the armor and construction looks very solid ....
The turret does not reach into the crew compartment.
@@jonny2954 and how they attach the turret to the hull , the ammo stort , the ammo is stored in the turret ....
0:19 nice logo
Some how or rather it kind of looks like top heavy bottom light
next generation after this will be self autonomous or robot tanks - skynet goes live
"In summation, what you have before you is...
A troop transport that can't carry troops, a reconnaissance vehicle that's too conspicuous to do reconnaissance...
And a quasi-tank that has less armor than a snow-blower, but carries enough ammo to take out half of D.C. THIS is what we're building?"
- The Pentagon Wars
Can't help but think about this after watching the video
can hold 8 Infantry (same as other similar AFV's) and has thermal imaging, etc. Not made for recon, its made to replace the M113A1 Ultra which is from the 1970's. Armour is actually comparable to a bradley, but actually has a better gun and ATGM
Is This Made To Counter The Leopard 2Sg?
made to work with it
I'm going to say it.
There are a lot of concerns (though not from me) that some kind of electromagnetic weapon could easily disable the Hunter.
Is it possible to address some of these concerns? How is the Hunter insulated against these theoretical EMP attacks?
Heard of EMP shielding?
All modern military tech is EMP-hardened. One of the reasons it's so expensive and heavy.
They don’t exist - never ever happened. There’s no EMP except nuclear weapons. Too much movies.
Every modern country’s weapons have electronics in them - whether US, Germany, Israel, Russia, China… there’s no such thing as EMP and it’s meaningless to have no electronics in fear of something that don’t exist. No country will do that.
Its interior design is wonderful.
So superior to the vehicle it is replacing.
A great job Singapore should be a match in most area's for the Lynx KF41 ifv if chosen by Australia.
@YNWA LFC Boxer is for reconnaissance, not IFV. FOr IFV they want a tracked vehicle.
EZ.....EMP Blast!!
Please installed Trophy APS.
Louis Goh in today's conflicts, the threat of rpg and atgms are very real. Recent Turkish army suffered leopard 2 losses from ATGM fire in Syria. In the next decade as you mentioned, the APS system will become more vital to crew protection
Constantine Joseph With the introduction of more advance RPG-32, I think SAF should focus more on AFV hull protection to ensure crews safety rather than relying on the laser warning system.
Louis Goh APS is becoming a essential globally. So far the Merkava and the new M1A2C have trophy whilst Germany and Russia are all developing ready to deploy systems similar to the Trophy.
I would invest the APS on the Leo 2s first before the Hunter as the Hunter wasn't meant to enter into heavily defended areas. They are great support vehicles to supplement the MBTs and can even defend themselves against the MBT threats if need be.
The primary role of the Hunter is scouting, supplementing the Leo 2s in combat and then providing mechanized infantry support for armor pushes to take ground and clear strong points where opposition ATGM teams are located.
I believe the Leo2s can take a sabot shot frontally from another MBT, but the Hunter and her contemporaries will not survive a sabot or heat round from modern high caliber guns. They are meant to hit and run and suppprt the infantry and also the MBTs. They should always be shielded by MBTs when enemy tanks are present
@@ConstantineJoseph Since the Hunter Class AFV is dependent on sensors and cameras, one hit from a RPG or cannon will disrupt or disable the entire system. That would mean the Hunter AFV would be blind if you take away the sensors and cameras.
The unmanned turret on the Hunter is the Rafael Samson 30 RCWS which is Israeli. The turret does have the ability to mount Trophy hard kill APS so Mindef is either not putting them on during peacetime or simply chose not to install at all.
Our infantry can play Daft Punk in the tank
Missile! About time too. Spike?
dave choy yup two raisable spike missiles in the middle
@@orangecat3021
Is not a duplication of Bionix? Why do they say it replaces M113?
Spike is a decent ATGM. Hopefully the reloading is automated or can be manually fed. 2 missiles is never enough in operations and I hope there's stowage for at least 8-12 missiles
@@ConstantineJoseph i think max would be around 6+ and not more than 10. If there's more than 10 reserve missiles, then space will be sacrificed, therefore less troops carried onboard
@@NewmaticKe M113 is from the 1970's and has crap armour. worth being replaced
Add an ATGM
It carries 2 spike missiles
Built to Hunt or Sell???
新加坡兵强天下 ! 坚固的军事力量,新加坡武装部队战车随时能够准备好战争战斗。 无所不败 ! 无法战争胜的力量 !
good luck with mines
Thats the same for every vehicle lol
just make sure... don't pass HK anymore lah… kana detain again... very malu loh... hehe
this one wont pass HK la, armor go wallaby de
Hard against hard is richochet.
Hot slug penetration is not hard
Rounds and rate of fire should be hot and HE belt
Leave the bouncy DU for americanos.
Test anti-sniper, anti-tank, anti-aircraft, anti-surface, counter-battery, anti-personnel, anti-iPhones
Infantry Company fire-movement request for supression-fire(enemy), to advance. Plan for slowest, longest, sustained(barrel cool, "personnel" preserve-stamina, constant-sustained performance). Time of reload of in-direct fire(artillery) and direct-fire(tanks) should be filled in by 30mm-cannons(direct-fire).
If cover-fire is aimed, supression-fire is quicker-immediate-constant area-effect(not aimed).
Test and formulate for attack-formation(assigned per objective) to arrive at rate-of-fire. Ration rounds for all including infantry. Support arms, support services, ... are secondary to infantry.
Barrage = exhaust personnel and barrel = emergency, high-rate
Prep-prepatory is to prepare the ground for ...
= Hit, observe, attack, observe
= Hit, move in
Human coordination is baseline. All "smart" have to follow structure, gaps, spacing, margins of baseline. West-malaysia is one-front. Coordinate Prongs. Directions, flanks ... not yours. Ground decides. Count up-down theory-concept vectors to narrow logic to cater to various equipment levels and staffing levels
Yeah, advanced high tech military butcher machine. Should install 120mm cannon or AGL as well. What is the ATGM? Lahat /spike/ tow/matador/kornet ? Should be the invincible kornet AGTM as this country always armed from feet to the teeth. An Igla anti-aircraft / chopper missile should be mounted as well for serious business.
The old M113Vhad iglas
TOW is also pretty decent against armoured units.
@@NewmaticKe Igla is against aircraft. It's a surface to air missile, not anti-tank
most likely spike atgm
For commonality with the other ground forces of Singaporean army, it will be a Spike LR or possibly a NLOS variant. 4Km engagement range with TOP down strike capabilities to penetrate the thinner TOP armor of MBTs
Because of the ATGM, there is no requirement for a 120mm gun which is too heavy and will require a bigger turret with a loader to operate that.
This looks ugly.
