For those who have never been to clementi camp its a pretty chill place where training of all sorts is conducted. Quite a few diff snack stalls. They have a special dish called commando cutlet which is signature to their camp I think. Cookhouse food is good enough, drinks are free flow from subway kind of dispenser with occasional days with ice cream. Legit not bad amenities as a trainee there back when I was training as an ST
I'm Jsonn and said about Jurong Camp air can make you go high. It's due to the air pollution at the area and it always have a weird nasty smell. Getting me high is just an exaggeration of how bad it was.

And hour and hours on end playing smart phone wasting our life need say more ? National service more like national slavery , Bangladesh workers get paid more and have better accommodation and food for sure . Treating us as third class citizen and expect us to give our all . Ridiculous
I had some fun too when I read the Paya Lebar Air Base reviews lol - ppl asking about flight routes, parking (though I can't find these, maybe they were removed), people thinking that this is Changi Airport ahaha.
Not dissing on the hard work of Singapore's military but the signals coming from stagmont really disrupt lessons (internet issues) in the neighbouring schools(esp JPJC.)

Stagmont camp can see PJC girls, walk nearby got macdonalds. And not true there's no morning exercise. Jurong if it's referring to sungei gedong, there's a bad smell usually early in the morning and sometimes at night: some say its chicken poop or fertiliser because there are a lot of farms around
Army food is better now. Back then, it was foods were cooked by NSF (Cooks) , u could see Curly hair and housefiles . The taste was horrible . But training was harsh and we got hungry easily . With no other choices , we still finished all the foods 🤣 Now it's so good...

How to strengthen our kids, in mindset , confidence, seriousness about why the need In NS n reserves if parents are complacent. Don’t take for granted that we will be help from super power if we are attacked or we wouldn’t be attacked.

I can vouch for clementi camp cookhouse, it's pretty good, along with kranji camp 3. Especially when compared to Tengah Airbase.

Stagmont Camp houses the School of Signals, HQ Signals and some C4I battalion, so it's a bit more switch off than other camps.
