Not even the most hopeful of the hopeful could have imagined that The Stadium Tour, headlined by Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, would come to Brazil. Even though ticket sales for the only date held, March 7th, in São Paulo - the shows scheduled for Curitiba and Porto Alegre were canceled - were slim, we celebrated what this represents; the country once again becoming a destination for major international tours. On the eve of landing in Tupiniquin lands, I was able to talk to Phil Collen, guitarist from Def Leppard, who was very excited to come here. The conversation also focused on the 40th anniversary of the classic “Pyromania” (1983) and “Slang” (1996), the black sheep of the band’s discography.
